Early Man Film Review

Aardman Animations is a studio that's known for producing hit after hit but even they are prone to making a film that isn't that big of hit. Case in point the film that i'm about to review for you all today which despite getting some really very good reviews from critics didn't make that much money at the box office and so then join me as I review the film that is quite possibly the black sheep of the Aardman Animations family with the film in question being called simply just "Early Man" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when he is run out of his home a caveman and his tribe challenge the invaders to a game of Football. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured /presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being rather simple but also rather enjoyable as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Eddie Redmayne as Dug , Tom Hiddleston as Lord Nooth and Maisie Williams as Goona. Also starring in this film is Timothy Spall as Chief Bobnar , Miriam Margolyes as Queen Oofeefa , Kayvan Novak as Dino and Jurgend , Rob Brydon as Brian and Bryan , The Message Bird and Gonad The Gaul , Richard Ayoade as Treebor , Selina Griffiths as Magma , Johnny Vegas as Asbo , Mark Williams as Barry , Gina Yashere as Gravelle , Richard Webber as Grubup , Simon Greenall as Eemak and Thongo and this films director and producer ad Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park as Hognob.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which given who is starring in this film and who is making in this film really isn't all that surprising at all since Aardman films even there bad ones still have good acting in them and this films cast members are some really good actors and so then of course their going to turn in some really good performances in this film.

Doing the animation for this film is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Aardman Animations. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good which given that the animation was done by Aardman Animations isn't really that much of a surprise.

As somebody who isn't that much of a football fan i'm still glad that they chose to feature the sport in this film. Since it is still fun seeing all of the cliche's that we come to think of when we think of football done in the typical Aardman style and the fact that they got actual football to do chants for the crowd scenes just goes to show that the team had a lot of love for the beautiful game and that is something that really does shine through in this film.

This is perhaps one of the least known films that Aardman have ever done in some ways I can see why since while there other films have always been set in England they've never fully absorbed themselves into British culture. Where as this film does and that is both a positive and a negative it's a negative in the way that now people who aren't British aren't going to get what's going on in the film or aren't going to get certain jokes and it's a positive because Aardman itself is a British company with this film having a mostly British crew and there;s a an old saying when it comes to writing which is write what you know and both of this films writers are British and so then of course there going to write about something that's a huge part of British culture and that is something that alot of people outside of England just won't get or even understand all that much if at all.

This film really doesn't develop it's characters all that well at all since alot of the characters barring Dug and Goona aren't really all developed all that well. With alot of this films characters just coming across as being very note and very one dimensional this is something that also effects our villain which means that we get a villain who isn't that interesting and gets very little funny things to say or do and so he's not even a funny character he's just an annoying a character who is trying to be funny and that doesn't make him a good character at all.

Now then I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films running time even was I do know that for fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and twenty five minuets. Which is a great running time for this film to have since this film really doesn't have alot there interms of either plot or story to cover anything that's even close to being two hours and so this film being as short as it is means that every single scene has to be about pushing the plot forward and as such we get some really good pacing in this film since there are no scenes that last longer then what they really need to.

So now then since this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this film getting a big laugh out of me however like I said before this films jokes are only funny to British since it deals with alot of things that you'd only find in England and as such people outside of England will most likely not find this film to be all that funny in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a really good and funny film and it;s one that I think alot of Aardman fans should check out but at the same time I can see why alot of people aren't fans of this film since it's quite clearly one of the weakest film that Aardman have ever done in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com , the official Early Man fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all really fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
