Ultraviolet Film Review

 

Milla Jovovich is a modern action film legend with the actress having mostly done action films all throughout her acting career. However there is one film that even she hates and this is coming from the person that gave the OK to all of the Resident Evil sequels to the The Three Musketeers film and so then join as I review the film that even Milla Jovovich hates with the film in question being called simply just "Ultraviolet" enjoy.

The plot of this film is an assassin killed Violet Song Jat Shariff is tasked with protecting a young boy that may hold the key to the survival human race. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was really bad and was also really freaking generic as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Milla Jovovich as Violet Song Jat Shariff , Cameron Bright as Six and Nick Chinlund as Vice-Cardinal Ferdinand Daxus. Also starring in this film is William Fichtner as Garth , Scott Piper as Garth's assistant , Sebastien Andrieu as Nerva , Christopher Garner as Luthor , Ricardo Mamood-Vega as Song Jat Shariff , Jennifer Caputo as Elizabeth P. Watkins , Duc Luu as Kar Waia , Kieran O'Rorke as Detective Cross , Ryan Martin as Detective Breeder and Digger Mesch as Detective Endera.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty OK at best. Which for this film having something that's just OK at best is a good thing indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this film is Menfond Electronic Art & Computer Design Company , CIS Hollywood and Hualong Digital Film Production Company. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad with this films CGI making the graphics in a late Playstation 2 game look good by comparison in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

If you think that today's films have way to much CGI in them then you clearly haven't seen this film because this fil has so much CGI in every single shot that it's unreal. This is a huge problem because it makes everything in this film just look unreal because it's hard to tell what was shot on location and what was added in in post-production and that is not a good thing at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

The editing in this film is just so bad since there are a ton of very quick cuts all throughout this films many action sequences. Which just makes this films action sequences really confusing which considering that alot of this films action sequences also advance the plot of the film it's a really bad thing when your audience is left confused over what they've just seen in this films action sequences in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.   

This films main character is so badly written since we get to find out nothing about her and she's so unevenly written. Since she goes from acting motherly to hating a character in the exact same shot with very little to no build up this is an example of how you don't write an interesting character because it makes the character hard to form a connection to and is very unlikable which for the main hero is not a good thing at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty seven minuets and twenty nine seconds. Which is such a short running time for this film since this film was meant to be around two hours until Sony Pictures themselves locked writer and director Kurt Wimmer out of the editing bay and cut the film down to what it is and it's that kind of meddling that really did effect this film since it would have helped the film out quite alot if this film was around two hours long in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this film is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. At least the action that we can actually see anyways plus you can never go wrong with Milla Jovovich in a freaking action scene in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is so much worse then what I remember it being and I can very easily see why both Milla Jovovich and Kurt Wimmer have disowned this film because it's that bad in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 4.5 out of 10 from me.
