Morbius Film SPOILER FREE Film Review

 

Marvel fans just a few short days after launching a new Disney+ TV show the house of ideas is now back with a new live action movie. I will very much admit that this film was a film that I really hadn't been all of that excited for just simply due to the amount of times that it got delayed and pushed back and when I found it out that this film is set within the same universe as Venom my excitement levels dropped even further so then join me as I give you me SPOILER FREE review of the film that makes Blade: Trinity look good by comparison with the film in question being called simply just "Morbius" enjoy.

Now then one of the few things that every single film needs is a story and that is something that is very sorely missing from this film. Since yeah there's no plot to this film whatsoever which is a shame because a plotline is the one thing that every single film needs to have in order to justify it's existence and when you rob a film of a plotline you rob it of it's reason to even exist in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

Starring in this film is Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius , Matt Smith as Milo Morbius and Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft. Also starring in this film is Jared Harris as Dr. Emil Nicholas , Al Madrigal as Alberto "Al" Rodriguez , Tyrese Gibson as Simon Stroud and Corey Johnson as Mr. Fox. These are all the cast members that I can list in this film without going into that much spoiler territory but even so this freaking film does have a really freaking small cast of characters in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the issue since alot of this film actors and actresses are clearly trying there best to turn in a good or even passable performance but the script for this film just won't let them do that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this film is Digital Domain , Industrial Light & Magic , Lola Visual Effects and One Of Us. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty passable at best which for this freaking film is a very freaking good thing indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then I personally see this film as being alot like that Bloodshot film that we got a few years back in that both films just don't respect the source material at all and both films try to please everybody but in the end end up pleasing nobody. This the type of comic book movie that Hollywood film studios absolutely need to stop to stop making as it only results in a bad film which results in the film studios loosing quite a bit of freaking money in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Another major issue that I personally had with this film was it's rating since this film is rated PG-13 which is the American equivalent of a 12A rating. This film very clearly was pushing to be an R rated film which is the UK equivalent of a 15 rating which would have suited this film alot better and it would have better suited the dark and brooding character that is Michael Morbius in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film has had so many delays and push backs that it really does come close to matching The New Mutants for the amount of times that this film has been delayed and pushed back. This is something that really did hurt the film since there's quite clearly a good film in here just trying to get out but because of all of the reshoots that this film went through it just cannot come through in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this film had / has an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty eight minuets exactly. Which is another issue that I personally had with this film since this film is way to short heck without ending credits this film is at the very least one hour and thirty minuets which for a superhero origin movie is not a good running time at all since there's so much that you need to set up and that's even taking into account that this film is being set within a preexisting universe as well and so then this film should have at the very least have been two hours and thirty minuets long in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then since this film is an action film after all that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty passable at best. This is because a huge portion of the time alot of the action that we get in this film is all done in computers and when it's not done in computers it's done in a way that makes it very hard to see but what little action that we can see is like i've just said passable at best in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is just as bad as the first Venom movie was back in 2018 and i'm not hoping that this film gets a sequel simply because of the fact that this film is that freaking bad and is just a piece of trash film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 3.5 out of 10 from me.
