Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows Film Review
Turtles fans it'd been years since we've had an actually good live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies and since that it doesn't look like that we'll be getting another live action outing very freaking soon. I thought that now was the right time to take a look at the film that has so far pretty killed of any chances of getting an actually good live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and so join me as I review the film that is quite literally a live action adaptation of the 1987 cartoon with the film in question being freaking called freaking simply just "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows" enjoy.
The plot of this film is the turtles have to find fragments of a device that can open up a portal to another dimension all before The Shredder finds those exact same freaking fragments. Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot of this film in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot of this film was really freaking bad simply just because of the fact that this films plotline is far to freaking rushed as all heck in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Starring in this film is Pete Ploszek as Leonardo , Alan Ritchson as Raphael , Jeremy Howard as Donatello and Noel Fisher as Michelangelo. Also starring in this film is Tony Shalhoub as Splinter , Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop , WWE Superstar / WWE Wrestler Sheamus as Rocksteady , Brad Garrett as Krang , Megan Fox as April O'Neil , Stephen Amell as Casey Jones , Will Arnett as Vern "The Falcon" Fenwick , Laura Linney as Police Chief Rebecca Vincent , Brian Tee as The Shredder , Brittany Ishibashi as Karai and Tyler Perry as Dr. Baxter Stockman.
Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was at best OK. Which given whom is appearing in / starring in this film is to be expected but when you've seen these actors turn in good performances in other projects it really does make you wonder why they didn't bother to turn in a good performance in this project in my opinions anyways / at least.
Doing the CGI for this film is Industrial Light & Magic , Ghost VFX , Atomic Fiction , Base FX , Whiskytree , Animatrik Film Design , fx3x , Virtuos , BOT VFX , Shade VFX and freaking Lola Visual Effects. Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was actually the best part of this film simply because the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film is in all honesty really freaking good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
So now then this film is basically just a live action adaptation of the 1987 animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Since alot of what fans loved about that show appears in this film like for example we have the big screen debuts for Krang , Bebop and Rocksteady and even the The Technodrome makes an appearance in this film however tho this film doesn't really use these elements all that well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then just to go back to what I was just saying for a minuet this is because of the fact that this universe for the Turtles haven't really been presented as being cartoonish and goofy. With this universes Turtles instead being portrayed as being alot more gritty and down to earth and so even tho the elements that i've just mentioned are indeed some very welcome additions to the film they clash with the tone set by the first first film wand which is very mostly carried over it this film as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then one of the many characters that really suffers in this film is that of the character of Casey Jones. Simply because not only do they water him down to the point where he might as well as be a different character but they also make an annoying whiney type of character which just doesn't suit who Casey Jones is as a character at all since Casey Jones is a bada*s who is willing to do what's right no matter what the cost is and that's something that just doesn't come across at all in this film adaptation of the Casey Jones character in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then this film has / had a grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty two minuets and seven seconds. Which is in all honesty a really good thing since this very mediocre film really doesn't have enough there in terms of either plot of even story to cover anything that's anywhere even close to being two to two and a half hours long since then it would be stretching an already pretty thinly drawn out story even freaking thinner in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
So now then this film is an action film after all that and as such that means that as such I have to talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was really freaking good. This is simply just because the action that we get to see to see in this film is genuinely pretty freaking entertaining to see play out on screen and thus in the actual film itself in my opinions anyways / at least.
Overall this film was a really average to bad film at best which is a shame because there where more then enough elements in this film to make this film really freaking good but for some strange those elements just couldn't come together and make this film any freaking good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such this means that this film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.
Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom wiki page , the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my preferred website to use to get images from this film being the official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom wiki page just simply due to the fact that alot of the images that are on the official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom wiki page are all fairly high quality and as well as being fairly high definition.
