The Suicide Squad Film SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!! Review

 

Well then DC Comics fans the moment that we have all been waiting is finally here because yes the new live action Suicide Squad film / movie has been been released and put up and on HBO Max. As such you just know that I had to review this film / movie the very first chance that I got and yes there will indeed be alot of spoilers in this very review and so join me as I review that many of us have been super freaking excited to see with the film in question being called simply just "The Suicide Squad" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Task Force X are sent to the fictional country / island of Corto Maltese in order to destroy a laboratory that contains an Aliens star fish that is more then freaking capable of destroying the whole entire world. Now then as for what I personally thought about the plot that's in this very film / movie in all honesty I honestly thought that the plot of this very film / movie was just as strange and as bizarre as film featuring the Suicide Squad in live action form should and I honestly loved it just simply due to how entertaining the plot of this film well and truly was in my opinion anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Margot Robbie as Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn and Idris Elba as Robert DuBois / Bloodsport. Also starring in this film is John Cena as Christopher Smith / Peacemaker , Joel Kinnaman as Colonel Rick Flag , Jai Courtney as George "Digger" Harkness / Captain Boomerang , Peter Capaldi as Dr. Gaius Grieves / The Thinker , Alice Braga as Sol Soria , Pete Davidson as Richard Hertz / Blackguard , David Dastmalchian as Abner Krill / Polka-Dot Man , Michael Rooker as Brian Durlin / Savant , Nathan Fillion as Cory Pitzner / T.D.K. , Storm Reid as Tyla DuBois Viola Davis as Amanda Waller , Sean Gunn as Weasel and the awesomely cast Sylvester Stallone as The Voice Of Nanaue / King Shark.

Now then as for what I personally thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this film in all honesty I honestly thought that the acting that's / that is featured / presented to us in this film was really good. Which given who is starring / appearing in this film no one should be surprised by the fact that this film has good acting in it / within it really shouldn't come as a surprise to absolutely anyone in my opinion anyways / at least. 

Doing the CGI for this film are Framestore , Gentle Giant Studios , Legacy Effects , Scanline VFX , Trixter , Weta Digital and fx3x. Now then in terms of what I personally thought about the CGI that's featured /presented to us in this film in all honesty I in all honesty thought that the CGI that's featured / resented to us in this very film / movie wasn't that bad since there are indeed of good looking CGI effects in this film but at the same time there are also quite a few bad or even dodgy looking CGI effects that are in this very film as well in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then when this film was first announced nobody was sure about if this film was a sequel or reboot or a reimagining of the 2016 Suicide Squad film and well now after finally seeing the whole film I can infact confirm that this film is pretty much a sequel to the 2016 Suicide Squad film. Since the three returning Suicide Squad / Task Force X members do mention knowing each other and heck they even kind of mention the Birds Of Prey movie which they kind of needed to do in order to fully explain why Harley Quinn is now suddenly back in jail.

Now speaking of the Birds Of Prey movie this movie treats Harley Quinn so much better then the Birds Of Prey movie ever did. This is because the writer and director of this movie is James Gunn and he is freaking talented writer and director and instead of presenting Harley Quinn as just a nut job and nothing more then that he adds depth to her character and he does it with one scene where she kills someone that she's just fallen in love with just because he raised a few red flags for her by saying that he wants to kill children and then Harley Quinn goes on and has this fantastic speech about her past relationships and how she always chooses the wrong men to be with and so she's made up her mind that in order to stop the abuse that she suffers because of these bad men that she always gets with she just kills them the second that a red flag is raised and that adds tons of depth and character to the character of Harley Quinn in my opinion anyways / at least.

This film does the shocking thing by actually killing of the overall vast majority of it's cast and I have to admit that as cool as it was seeing Captain Boomerang actually using his boomerang it was even cooler seeing how he and the rest of one half of Task Force X were being killed of and it's in the deaths scenes of the first half of Task Force X that we get to see this film ern it's R rating. Since there are alot and I do mean alot of very gory deaths that are to be found in this film and they are all very hugely entertaining to see play out in this film in my opinion anyways / at least.

The running time tho is where this film does kind of suffer tho since this film is two hours and twelve minuets and six seconds long and even tho this film does indeed jump right into the main story of the film. It also doesn't take the time that's needed to fully explain to us the audience who these new characters are and why we should care about them which when your introducing as many / much new main characters as this film is you really should give your audience a reason to care for these new characters and as well as a chance to get to know these new characters.

Now then since this film is an action film after all and that does infact mean that are there action sequences to be found in this action film and that infact means that that I have to actually talk about the actual action scenes / action sequences that are featured / resented to us in this very film and well if i'm being well nd truly honest here people the action scenes / action sequences that are featured / presented in this film are really freaking entertaining. Which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since this whole film is freaking entertaining and I just love that we get to see a bada*s Harley Quinn action scene / action sequence just because the one that we had in the Birds Of Pray film / movie was very easily the best of that entire film / movie and it was nice to have a bada*s Harley Quinn action scene / action sequence in this film as well as in the Birds Of Prey film in my opinion anyways / at least.

Overall this film is so much better then both the 2016 Suicide Squad film and the Birds Of Prey film put together however altho those films walked so that this film could run in my opinion anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are featured / presented to us in this very film / movie in this very review and as such that means that this film gets a grand score of an 8.5 out of 10 from me.
