Space Thing Review

Ladies and gentlemen you've seen me review alot of movies over the years and you'll see me review alot more movies as well. However I thought that it was a bout time that I took a look at some of the lesser known and shall we say strange and bizarre and well i've think that i've found a film that is both really strange and bizarre as all hell and this film is one that i've been wanting to review for some time and so i'm glad that I can finally check this film of my every growing and seemingly never ending list of films to watch and so join me as I review "Space Thing" and so enjoy the review.

Now I really do wish that I could tell you what the heck the plot of this film is but sadly the film didn't bother to include any kind of plot whatsoever as such I cannot talk about the plot of this film there is no plot whatsoever to talk about. Which trust me is the tip of the ice berg when it comes to how bad this film is because not only is there no plot whatsoever the film itself doesn't make sense since the bulk of the film takes place in a man's dream which trust me I will be talking more about that dream aspect later on in the review.

Starring in this film is Karla Conway as Connie and Steve Vincent as James Granilla / Col. James Granilla. Also starring in this film is Merci Montello as Portia , Dan Martin as Willie , Fancher Fague as Astrid and Credits Girl , Cara Peters as Captain Mother , Stan Isfloride as Cadet and Bambi Allen as Marge Granilla. There really isn't alot of people in this film which might be because the film cost seventeen thousand and five hundred American dollars in 1968 money and as such a large cast was most likely not even an option for the makers of this film.

Judging by the acting tho having a large was a bad thing because yikes is the acting in this film pretty freaking bad and i'm just talking TV movie or straight to DVD bad no i'm talking you need to go back to acting school bad. Since yeah the actors in this film don't act well at all with every actor underacting and not giving any kind of emotion in any given scene which while it does work for the film and the fact that the main portion of this film is meant to be a dream is still doesn't excuse the fact that the actors in this film gave bad performances in my opinion.

Now I first heard about this film when I was doing research for my review of "Barbie & Kendra Storm Area 51" and if i'm being honest ever since then i've been waiting for the right time to review this film just so I can see if it's really bad and well the film is pretty bad. If anything "Barbie & Kendra Storm Area 51" actually made the film better in my opinion since at least in that film they knew that they were mocking a bad film this is just bad freaking film.

What makes this film so freaking strange and odd is the fact that main portion of the film takes place inside of a man's dream. That idea right there is so freaking strange simply because knowing how dreams work the ending to this film simply wouldn't work since the dream your having would force you to wake up and even so in drams your still telling a story with a beginning , middle and an end and here there is no story being told.

I will fully admit that this film is very entertaining but not in a good way for you see this film is film is entertaining in a so good it's bad way. Since everything that i've just said is wrong with the film are also thing that make the film enjoyable since your laughing at how absurd the film is as well as how bad the acting is and so you end up having a good time watching this bad film and I honestly recommend this film just due to how bad the film is.

I will fully admit that one of the reasons that I wanted to check this film out is because the films official IMDB page proudly states the official synopsis for this film that this film has the worst special effects shot in any kind of film ad it does and the special effects shot in this is so bad that it needs to be seen. I cannot put into words how bad the special effect shots are in this film are so freaking bad that it's honestly worth watching the film just to see how bad the special effects shots in this film truly freaking are because there are no words to describe how bad the special effects shots in this film are in my opinion.

This film has a total running of one hour and nine minuets and fifty three seconds which for this film is about right. Since there is no plot at all for this film and so all there is is seeing the same four women go topless just for the hell of it which honestly isn't enough to justify the film being anything even close to an hour and a half long hell even the films directors Byron Mabe and David F. Friedman admitted to only making this film just so they could get some nudity on the cinema / big screen and as such they didn't add a plot to the film and it really shows with this running time so imagine how badly it would show if the film was one hour and thirty minuets long instead of one hour and nine minuets and fifty three seconds long.

Now then this is listed as a comedy and so that means that I have to talk about the comedy / jokes that are in this film. In short there are no jokes in this film and the only form of comedy comes from how bad the film is which for a comedy isn't that good at all in my opinion hell even the Corona Zombies / Barbie & Kendra movies have more jokes then this film does but like I said the only comedy in this film is seeing how bad this film truly freaking is and that in my opinion makes this film really freaking funny because this film like i've said in this very review is really freaking bad in my opinion.

Overall this film like i've said several freaking times in this review is so freaking bad but at the same time this film is a so bad it's good film and as such I oddly recommend watching this film but do NOT watch this film with any parents in the room or with anyone else in the room because things will get awkward pretty freaking quickly. Given that i've discussed both the good and the many bad things that are in this film this film gets a 3 out of 10 from and as for where I got the images that I used in this review I got the images that I used in this review from Google Images and nowhere else and since I only went to Google Images for the images that I used in this review I have no choice but to recommend that you guys Google Images if you want to use images from this film but be warned since this was a very low budget film that was released in 1968 none or very few of the images will be high definition.
