Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Film Review

Believe it or not there once was a time where alot of people really hated the Teen Titans Go Tv series for one reason or another and yet despite that not only was the show a smash hit for Cartoon Network. It was so popular that to date it's spawned four movies with the film that really i'm going to be reviewing for you all today not only being the first movie that the show spawned but is also to date the only one to get a theatrical release and so then join me as I review the film that proves that nothing everything from this series is bad with the film in question being called simply just "Teen Titans Go! To The Movies" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when Robin wants to get his own movie he and the rest of the Teen Titans head to hollywood to make the boy wonder dreams come true. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that'd actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being alot more better then the rest of the plots that the show was doing at time whilst also being true to what the show is as well as the films plot is lighthearted enough for the fans of the show to get behind it and yet at the same time it's also cinematic enough to be worthy of being the plot of a movie as there's not way that you could tell this films plot in a standard eleven minuet of the show and heck you'd even struggle to do it in a twenty two minuet special episode of the show as well which is something that does justify this movie being a thing and doesn't make it feel like an extended episode of the show something that alot of films that are based off of TV shows struggle to do with it being helped by the fact that this films plot does show us that the makers of this show could make a good plot if they really wanted to and having the plot centre around Robin does make as not only is he the most well known member of the group from a mainstream perspective but he's the only character that could undergo some character growth as well something that this films plot does do really well with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Scott Menville as Dick Grayson / Robin , Hynden Walch as Starfire and Khary Payton as Victor Stone / Cyborg. Also starring in this film is Tara Strong as Raven , Greg Cipes as Garfield Logan / Beast Boy , Kristen Bell as Jade Wilson , Eric Bauza as Arthur Curry / Aquaman and Stan Lee's Assistant , Michael Bolton as Tiger , Nicolas Cage as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman , Joey Cappabianca as Patrick O'Brian / Plastic Man , Greg Davies as Balloon Man , John DiMaggio as The Guard and The Synth Skate Voice , Halsey as Princess Diana / Diana Prince / Wonder Woman , David Kaye as The Alfred Trailer Announcer and The Announcer Inside Premiere , Tom Kenny as The Machine Voice , Jimmy Kimmel as Bruce Wayne / Batman , Stan Lee as Himself , Vanessa Marshall as Vault Voice , Phil Morris as John and D.O.O.M.S.D.A.Y. , Patton Oswalt as Ray Palmer / Atom , Alexander Polinsky as Control Freak , Meredith Salenger as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl , Dave Stone as Kyle "Ace" Morgan , Fred Tatasciore as Jor-El and The Security Guard , James Arnold Taylor as Shia LaBeouf , Lil Yachty as John Stewart / Green Lantern , Wil Wheaton as Barry Allen / The Flash and Will Arnett as Slade Wilson / Deathstroke.

Now then interns of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presnted to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. This is something that's to be expected as alot of this film actors have been playing these character not only since this show first started back in 2013 but also since the original Teen Titans show first started back in 2003 and so they of course would know how best to perform there respective character as they've been playing them one and off for close to a decade with the films more newer actors more then holding there own when it comes to acting against the series regular actors with the best actor from the series actors being Scott Menville as Dick Grayson / Robin as he does get the chance to show alot of emotion in this film something that he's just not that able to do in an episode of the show with the best of the more newer actors being Nicolas Cage who is quite simply hilarious as Superman and of course knowing that he did also almost play the character in live action does make his casting in this film seem oddly fitting as well with the acting that's in this film really bein helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so good that all this film films actors really have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance really will come out of them more naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the animation for this film is Big Jump Entertainment , Company 3 Animation , Copernicus Studios , Hornet , NE4U , Red Door Animation , Slap Happy Cartoons , Snipple Animation Studios , Titmouse and Warner Bros. Animation. Now then interms of what Impersonally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the film animation being alot more better then what it is in the show and that's not a knock against the shows animation as the show does have some really good animation in it's own right but with this being the film it of course does mean that the films animation will be alot more better as the film itself has a higher animation budget something that does show in the film with the film making some good use of CGI animation as well something that they couldn't do in the show and while the characters aren't given any kind of visual upgrade with them look like that they stepped right out of the show which does seem pointless as you only get one chance to make the characters look good in the film and this film really doesn't take it as it seems like while the animation budget was high and while the makers of the film put alot of effort into the films animation none of that same effort was put into giving the characters some visual upgrades as none of them are given a shadow and alot of them do have some really stiff looking movements on them from time to time with the film itself being a huge visual upgrade from what we had been getting in the show as a whole.

Incase you are wondering if this film is indeed canon to the show that answer is yes as the show actually has an episode entitled "Tower Renovation" which not only takes place after this movie but as the title would suggest does deal with the Titans having to rebuild there tower after it was destroyed in this film. This is something that you don't really get to see from movies that are based off of TV shows as alot of them don't take place in the same fictional world as the show which just seems pointless as the whole point of doing a movie based off of a TV show is to expand upon the world of the show and that is something that this film does just by having one single episode confirm that the two do indeed take place in the same world this however doesn't mean that you have to have watched a single episode of the show in order to understand what's going on in the movie as the truth is you don't you could have not watched a single episode of this show and still understand not only who the characters are but also what there relationships are like with each other and while it would be nice if you did see an episode or two of the show as then you'd be able to spot alot of the background cameos it's not something that's really needed to understand this movie as even the tone of the show is something that's carried over into the movie with this movie having alot of dumb jokes that only little kids will like and while there some smartly done jokes as well they are in the minority and not majority much like how they are in any episode of the show.

This film does also have some songs in it which were written by this films composer Jared Faber with alot of this films being really good. While yes granted this films songs aren't the best songs out there but they were never going to be given the fact that there song for a Teen Titans Go movie and with that in mind this films songs do come as being slightly better then that with the best of this films being "GO! (Battle Remix)" which as the title would suggest is just a remixed version of the films opening song "GO!" only now instead of being played for laughs like it was in the opening it's now meant to be the Titans own epic superhero type of theme song which is something that does fit the scene that it's in as it shows that these characters that can yes be goofy and silly at times but when push comes to shove they can be serious and are more then willing to fight the bad guy instead of just annoying them to the point where they give up willingly which is fine for an episode of the show but for the movie you need something more cinematic then that and what's more cinematic then having your heroes take down your main villain while there singing an epic version of what was a pretty goofy song at the start of the film and while this film does other good songs in it like "My Superhero Movie" which does yes also come back later on in the movie with Slade now using the song to taunt Robin and "Upbeat Inspirational Song About Life" which is just a fun song either of them are as good as "GO! (Battle Remix)" is as that is just such a good song.

As for this films villain aside from the lame twist reveal that film director Jade Wilson is actually Slade Wilson which is something that anyone could have seen coming a mile away. The villain as a whole was a pretty fun villain as yes he could be silly and goofy at times as all you have to do is just look at his first scene with the Titans does prove of that but he could also be a super serious and down right creepy villain even down to him using some of the lyrics of "My Superhero Movie" as a ways to taunt Robin which is not only a really cool idea in it's own right as the villain is now using what the hero wanted the most in the whole film against him but it's also really creepy and could be seen as being quite scary and frightening as well with even the villains main goal being something that not only makes sense interms of the world that this show and movie takes place in but also for these versions of these character as Slade wants to make sure that all of the worlds superheroes are busy so that he's free to take over the world and he goes about that by giving them all movies under his Jade Wilson persona and while there all busy making these movies he's bust committing crimes all over the world to make his mind control device so that he can take over the world which is something that does feel in character for this version of the character and is just goofy enough for it to work for this film as well which let's be honest is a pretty goofy thing to do and it's something that works in this film as this film isn't afraid to be a goofy comic book movie and heck even the fact that Slade has a giant robot just sitting their underneath the Warner Bros Studio lot is also a pretty funny and goofy idea in it's own right as well.

Now then this film has / had an exact grad total running time of exactly one hour and twenty four minuets and one second. Which is pretty much the exact grand total running time that you'd expect a film like this one to have and to this films credit it really does have more then enough plot there to over that amount of running time and while it doesn't necessarily use that running time time all that wisely by developing it's characters and plot and it really doesn't need to as the characters get alot of there development in episodes of the show and there for it's not something that's really needed to see in the movie and the plot gets all of the development that it needs as this is film that's only really going to be enjoyed by little kids and not every single kids films needs to have a super complicated plot especially if the plot of the film doesn't demand it which is very much the case here as this film is all about sending up superhero movies whilst also being a superhero movie and there for it doesn't really need to be that developed as a plot as the films target audience aren't going to care if the plot is developed enough or not as all there going to care about is the characters acting like how they do in the show and that's really it and that's something that this film does really well and it's something that the makers of this film really did understand and while it would have been nice if both the characters and plot got alot of development it's not something that really needed for this film to work as it works fine just the way that it is but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this films action being alot more better then what you'd really expect from anything that's related to Teen Titans Go as you don't really expect good or even passable action from that show given that it's more focused on comedy then action but here tho the makers of the film balance the two out really will with there being just as much funny moments s there are some really good action scenes in this film as well with the best action scene in this whole film being the entire act final fight as it's just cool seeing the fight between the Titans and Slade escalate with even Slade using the mind controlled superheroes to try and take down the Titans and then having Slade try and fight them in a giant robot which is a really good idea in it's own right with it always being cool seeing the Titans stop being there loveable goofy selfs and actually fight Slade but in a way that's more true to how they are as characters all of which combine to make that entire final fight the best action scene in the movie and while that's not a knock on the films other action scenes either its just that that one was the best of the bunch and was more then a great way to end this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall out of all of the Teen Titans Go movies that are out there this one is easily the best one as it feels like a movie instead of just being something that either has very little to do with Teen Titans Go or is just a kids version of Mystery Science Theater 3000 with this film proving that something good can come from Teen Titans Go if the team behind it can actually be bothered to make something good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about al of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Teen Titans Go fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images really from this very film being the really great the official Teen Titans Go fandom wiki page this is really because of the fact that really all of the images that I really indeed got and really used from the really great the official Teen Titans Go fandom wiki page are all really high quality really with all of the images that really are all and of course really currently up and on the really great and the really solid the official Teen Titans Go fandom wiki page really are all being really fairly high in quality and as well as them all really being fairly high in definition.
