Sonic The Hedgehog 3 A Short SPOILER FILLED Film Review

This weekend sees two companies and two famous characters battle it out at the box office. With Mufasa: The Lion King proving that Disney really doesn't listen to its fans its now time to take a look at the latest film in another long running series and so then join me as I give my SPOILER FILLED review of the film that cast the right person for Shadow with the film in question being called simply just "Sonic The Hedgehog 3" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a mysterious creature escapes from a secret organisation its up to Sonic , Knuckles , Tails and an old enemy to find him and save the world once and for all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as the plot whilst somewhat predictable is still a really good plot that is nothing more then pure fun and is perfectly in line with the plots of the previous films as well with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Ben Schwartz as Sonic The Hedgehog and Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Miles "Tails" Prower. Also starring in this film is Idris Elba as Knuckles The Echidna , Jim Carrey as Dr. Ivo Robotnik and Professor Gerald Robotnik , James Marsden as Tom Wachowski , Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski , Krysten Ritter as Director Rockwell , Natasha Rothwell as Rachel , Shemar Moore as Randall Handel , Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone , Tom Butler as Commander Walters , James Wolk as a Young Commander Walters , Adam Pally as Wade Whipple , Alyla Browne as Maria Robotnik and Keanu Reeves as Shadow The Hedgehog.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With Keanu Reeves being pitch perfect casting as Shadow The Hedgehog with him and all of the rest of this films actors doing a really good job as well which is something that does make alot of sense as alot of them have been portraying there respective characters for years at this point in time but at the same time alot of the recurring actors really aren't needed in this film despite the fact that they make rhe best use of there very limited screen time with the acting that's in this very film really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so good that all this films actors really have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance really will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the CGI for this film is BOT VFX , Blur Studio , Cantina Creative , Fin Design & Effects , Folks VFX , Image Engine Design , Industrial Light & Magic , Little Zoo Studio , Marza Animation Planet , Outpost VFX , ReDefine , Rising Sun Pictures , Rodeo FX , Untold Studios and Vandivision. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with all of the films CGI effects looking like that they were actually there on the day of filming with it not really being a that surprising that this films effects are as good as they are given who is working on this film and while this film does have one in two bad looking effects those aren't the majority and are in fact in the minority.

As with the previous two films you really do need to watch the mid-credits scene of this film. As just like with the previous two films that brought in another game character this one brings in Amy Rose and sees Sonic end up in the future where he's saved by her from a bunch of Metal Sonics and if the previous two films are anything to go by then the fourth film which is in development will more then likely follow up on this in that film which is a great way to use the mid-credits scene as it means that you have to stick around until the very end of the film just to get the smallest idea of what the next film will even be about where as most films these days will use either the mid-credits or the end-credits to tell a really bad joke here both of them are about either setting up something for the next film or resolving something from this film.

If there's one bad thing to say about this film it's the fact that the film really doesn't use its idea of family as well as it thinks that it does. With the characters only mentioning it once or twice but that's really it as the film really doesn't do anything with the idea of what it means to be a family outside of the fact that Professor Gerald Robotnik betrays his grandson because of the fact that he's been in grieving over his granddaughter and wants to destroy not only the world but both himself and Ivo and that's not really a good use of the theme of family as the film could have took the time to explore what it means to be a family and tie that into the main plot of the film.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty minutes and two seconds. Which is a really solid running time for this film to have as this film really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho this is a film that really could have done with being a little bit longer as thatvwould have allowed for the film to have not only a more fully developed plot but to also give Professor Gerald Robotnik a better plan because his plan does feel like the stereotypical bad guy in a kids movie kind of plan where as given the fantasy nature of this IP they could have given a much more wild and out there plan and it would also allow for the film to really get across just how important Maria really was to Shadow something that doesn't really come across all that well in the final cur of the film but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this an action film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With the film having alot of really fun filled action scenes in it which is nothing new for these films as all of these films have always had some really good action in them with the best action scene in the whole movie being the one where both Sonic and Shadow go super and fight each other not only over the world but on the moon as well which is just such a cool idea with it beingvthe topper of a really cool fun filled action scene in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall out of this and Mufasa: The Lion King this is the better film as this film gives its audience exactly what they reay want to see and then some and as a result of that is the fact that this is the better of the two films and its the only one of the two films that really worth seeing in cinemas as its really just that good of a film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8 out of 10 from me.
