Deadpool & Wolverine Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

With the MCU not really in the best of shape thanks to alot of the most recent movies and TV shows not being all that good. There was a lot of pressure on this movie to be good to really prove that there is still in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and well the latest Deadpool movie has just been released and as such you all knew that I had to check out this review the very first chance that I got and so then join meas I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the film that brings to comic book icons together with the film in question being called simply just "Deadpool & Wolverine" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when the Logan of his world is killed off it's up to Wade Wilson to find another one to save his world from dying once and for all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured /presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the plot of this film bringing these two characters in  way that feels natural and organic whilst at the same time also paying to respect to what came before it as well and while the plot of this film does use the now overused trope of the multiverse how this film does it makes it feel fresh and different again  and while it's not the best example of how to do a multiverse plot it does prove that if that trope it's done right then it could be a really good an entertaining idea that's bound to please lots of people with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is one of this films producers and co-writers Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson / Deadpool and Nicepool. Also starring in this film is Hugh Jackman as James "Logan" Howlett / Wolverine , Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova , Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle , Rob Delaney as Peter Wisdom , Leslie Uggams as Blind Al , Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead , Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio , Lewis Tan as Shatterstar , Karan Soni as Dopinder , Stefan Kapičić as The Voice Of Colossus and Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Paradox.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which given who is starring both listed and not isn't really all that surprising as all of this films actors are a bunch of really good actors who really do know how to turn in a really good performances with it being painfully obvious that both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are having the time of their lives starring in this film and that fun is something that really does shine through in each and every scene that there in and while it doesn't effect the performance of either actor it does make there performances alot more enjoyable to watch with both of them turning in some really good performances in this film with the acting in this film also being helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so good that all this films cast have to do is just the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the quality of the acting that's in this film.

Doing the CGI for this film is Barnstorm VFX , Base FX , Cantina Creative , Clear Angle Studios , Framestore , Industrial Light & Magic , Lola Visual Effects , Perception , Raynault VFX , Rising Sun Pictures , SCANable , SDFX Studio , SeeCubic , Track VFX , Weta FX and capital T. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as while yes this film does have some decent looking CGI effects the film does also have alot of really bad looking effects in it as well with the film having alot more decent looking effects then it does have bad looking effects but it's those bad effects that really do stay with you and because of that they also bring down the overall quality of the effects that are in this film as well and while yes every single film out there does have some bad effects in them those are usually are in the minority where as here they represent the overall majority of the films effects.

There was quite a few names that are in the film but are SPOILERS with those names being Dafne Keen as Laura / X-23 , Jennifer Garner as Elektra Natchios , Tyler Mane as Sabretooth , Kelly Hu as Lady Deathstrike , Aaron Stanford as John Allerdyce / Pyro ,  Ray Park as Toad , Matthew McConaughey as The Voice Of Cowboy Deadpool , Nathan Fillion as The Voice Of Headpool , Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau / Gambit , Blake Lively as The Voice Of Lady Deadpool , Chris Evans as Johnny Storm / Human Torch , Wesley Snipes as Eric Brooks / Blade and Henry Cavill as Cavillrine. Just the fact that the film managed to get back Wesley Snipes as Blade is mind blowing and yet he still manages to kick butt in this film with the same thing also being said for alot of the films cameos as well with obviously the one that's going to be getting alot of attention being Henry Cavill as Cavillrine which yes is the characters official name this is how you do a multiverse story as you dip into all of the possibilities that you could have with these characters as well as brining back actors from previous Marvel movies which is something that alot of the Marvel movies recently seem to be doing for no reason  what so ever.

While this film does have alot of positives it does also have some negatives to it as well lie the fact that the Wade and Venessa storyline in this film. Is basically the exact same plot that they had in the first film only now it's more watered down because of the fact that we the audience don't get to spend alot of time with the Deadpool supporting characters which makes repeating there storyline pointless as it's a storyline that we've already seen being played out and it makes you wonder why the makers of this film bothered to include her as she gets absolutely nothing to do in this film with the same thing being true for alot of the Deadpool supporting barring Peter who gets a shockingly big role in the film with this making you wonder why the makers of this film bothered to include her in the film as when the film starts she and Wade had been broken up for sometime which also makes the ending of the previous film feel pointless as well and all because of the fact that the makers of film wanted to repeat a story that they've already told with those characters instead of moving them on with there lives which they could have done as by the end of the second she was pregnant so there story for this film could have been around Wade struggling to adapt to be a father.

One of the things that the Deadpool films are known for is there comedy with this film having some really painfully jokes. With this film being home to a really good fourth wall joke where after Wade finds out that he's being offered the chance to join the main MCU timeline he walks up to the camera smashes it and says something along the lines of "screw you Fox i'm going to Disneyland" which is just so funny with the film having alot of jokes like that including a jab at DC and Warner Bros. Pictures and the whole Henry Cavill Superman situation and the fact that it's takes around twenty five years for Logan to be wearing his comic book accurate costume but even those jokes are the best joke in the movie as that honor goes to the fact that all of the Deadpool and both Deadpool and Wolverine go up against all back down to Peter because every single one of them in there own worlds has there own version of Peter which is just such a funny idea as these two superpowered beings can't defeat a whole army of Deadpools but this one none superpowered character does so just by turning up and basically telling them just to back off.

Now then this film really has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and two minuets. Which is the perfect running time for this film to have as the film has more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running which to be fait is also true for alot of the more recent Marvel Cinematic Universe films as well with this film taking full advantage of it's running time by fleshing out it's newer character like this new version Logan who is depressed because he killed of his world's version of the X-Men and is struggling to come to terms with that and that is something what would have been lost in the shuffle if the film had a much more shorter running time as the film would have to been more focused on reaching the next plot point then it would in fleshing out it's characters as alot of the character driven moments don't happen in big drama heavy scenes as they instead happen in small scenes where it's just two characters talking normally to each other and that's it with the film even taking the time to set up The Void which is basically a place where dying universes go after they've died which again is a small detail that would've been cut out of the film if the film had a short running time as it's not important to the plot of the film but I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us n this very film was in all honesty really cool. With this film having alot of really comic book type action in that everything is really over the top and all of the films action scenes are just fun to watch with the film also having some really good song choices play all throughout it's many action scenes as well with the action scene in the whole entire movie being in the films final act where we see Deadpool and Wolverine team up to on an army of Deadpools in what can only best be described as a throwback to side scrolling beat 'em games which is just such a fun idea and it's something that really does work well for this film as this film is all about being fun and not being afraid to be a dumb comic book movie which is something that was very sorely missing from alot of the more really bad and really recent Marvel Cinematic Universe films in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while it's of course far to early to say if this movie will be the movie that saved the Marvel Cinematic Universe it is however a movie that proves that there is still life left in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it proves that if you want to make a good movie then just make one that's entertaining and isn't afraid to be a exactly what it is as that's something that this films does really well with this film not being afraid to be nothing more then a dumb comic book movie and really nothing more then that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now the i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.
