Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

It's quite easy to say that Paw Patrol is quite the unstoppable franchise with two feature films under it's belt , a hugely successful TV series , a spin off series and successful toy line. It's save to say that this franchise isn't going anywhere fast and well i've finally had the chance to see the second film in this franchise and well I want to talk about it and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the film that for someone reason tries to be a superhero movie with the film in question being called simply just "Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when is an evil scientist tries to bring a meteor that has the power to grant whoever touches it superpowers it's up to the Paw Patrol to save the earth before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot hat's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty pretty bad as it just wasn't that creative of an idea and it just screamed of the filmmakers trying to cash in on the superhero movie craze in my freaking opinions anyways /at least.

Starring in this film is Mckenna Grace as Skye , Taraji P. Henson as Victoria "Vee" Vance and Marsai Martin as Liberty. Also starring in this film is Christian Convery as Chase , Ron Pardo as Mayor Humdinger and Cap'n Turbot , Lil Rel Howery as Sam Stringer , Kim Kardashian as Delores , Serena Williams as Yoga Yvette , Alan Kim as Nano , Brice Gonzalez as Tot , North West as Mini , James Marsden as Hank , Kristen Bell as Janet , Finn Lee-Epp as Ryder , Christian Corrao as Marshall , Luxton Handspiker as Rubble , Nylan Parthipan as Zuma , Callum Shoniker as Rocky , Kim Roberts as Mayor Goodway and Chris Rock as Cat Rubble.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting tat;s actually featured / presented to us in this very film well ten in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With alot of this films cast turning in some really good performances which does make sense as alot of this films cast members are reprising their roles from the show and so they would of course know what kind of performance would best suit their respective characters in any given situation with the same thing also being true for this films young kid cast as well.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Mikros Animation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the animation in this film being visually alot better then what you'd get in a typical episode of the show but at the same time there really was nothing that really stood out to me at all which just made this films animation feel safe and marketable and really noting all the more then that.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason this film openly chooses to copy a plot from the first film with one of the pups not feeling good enough and revealing that they have some sort of connection to Ryder. This was a plot line that worked for the first film as it was something that I don't think the show went into detail about but in this film it just felt like they were copying and pasting from the first films script instead of coming up with something new and creative which is what they really should as even tho this is a kids film that's still not n excuse for not coming up with an original plot for one of the pups and it really did feel like that Skye's backstory could have been told in some form in an episode of the show as there was nothing really about it that just screamed cinematic.

I think that alot of us know that this franchise at this point in time is just around to sell the toys and this film doesn't hide that fact at all. As soon as the pups get their powers not only do they get new suits but they also get new vehicles as well and when you add in the fact that they also have a new base as well and new characters it just makes this film seem rather unsubtle with the fact that it's just there to sell toys and nothing more then that and i'd be surprised if it turned out that the characters weren't designed with toys in mind as that's how blatant the makers of this film are when it comes to the fact that this film was only made to sell toys and not due to the fact that they have a genuinely really good story to tell.

Speaking if copying things from the first film this film even uses the exact same villain as the first film Mayor Humdinger. I will give this film some credit tho for at the very least trying to create a new villain but the fact that they used the villain from the first film just took away from what could have been a really cool villain as the film cuts away from our cool new villain to see whatever comedy antics Mayor Humdinger is up to and while I get it this is a kids film they can't have a dead serious villain and not give them a comedy sidekick but it is something that really did more harm then good as it also took away from the chance to fully develop this new villain something which the filmmakers should have done as they already have several episodes and a movie to fully establish Mayor Humdinger as a villain.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and nineteen minuets and seven seconds. Which is pretty much the running time for a Paw Patrol movie to have as while this film thankfully isn't stuck on repeat mode like the first film was it still doesn't have alot of story to cover a one hour and thirty minuet running time which means that the running time that it does have as short as it is is the perfect running time for this film to have and while this film could have easily have benefited from having a longer running time it would be stretching an already thin story even thinner if that was the case but I will however admit that this film really does have some really good and solid pacing to it.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films action being really inventive and alot better then what it really had any right to be as it was really sweet seeing all of the pups powers in action and having one big action where we got to see all of those powers did make the action all the more better in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall this film is about as average of an film that you can expect from a Paw Patrol movie and while the little kids will find this movie enjoyable there are better kids films out their in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good ad as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that meas that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Paw Patrol fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images this film being the official Paw Patrol fandom wiki page this is because all of the images that I got and that currently up / featured and on the official Paw Patrol fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly high in definition.
