Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review
The Transformers franchise is one that that saw a resurgence in popularity in 2007 with the release of the first ever live action Transformers film. Well now we have the latest installment of this on going pop culture phenomenon with this one setting up something which is sure to have alot of fans of another truly iconic pop culture franchise happy and so then join me as I review the film that brings characters from another popular Transformers animated series into the world of live action with the film in question being called simply just "Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts" enjoy.
The plot of this film is when a key to let the all powerful Unicron falls into the hands of the evil Terracons it's u the Autobots , their new human friends and their new friends The Maximals to prevent the end of the world before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but the issue is tho is that this films plot isn't all that good ether in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Starring in this film is Anthony Ramos as Noah Diaz , Dominique Fishback as Elena Wallace , Luna Lauren Vélez as Breanna Diaz and Dean Scott Vazquez as Kris Diaz. Also starring in this film is Transformers legend Peter Cullen as The Voice Of Optimus Prime , Ron Perlman as The Voice Of Optimus Primal , Peter Dinklage as The Voice Of Scourge , Michelle Yeoh as The Voice Of Airazor , Pete Davidson as The Voice Of Mirage , Liza Koshy as The Voice Of Arcee , Futurama star John DiMaggio as The Voice Of Stratosphere , David Sobolov as The Voice Of Rhinox , Battletrap and Apelinq , Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as The Voice Of Nightbird and Colman Domingo as The Voice Of Unicron.
Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films cast doing their absolutely best to make his films script work for them however this films script gives the cat absolutely nothing to work with and as such the cast just can't turn in that good of a performance.
Doing the CGI for this film is Moving Picture Company , Wētā FX , Industrial Light & Magic and The Third Floor. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good which given what effects companies are involved with this film isn't that much of a surprise whatsoever.
SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!
I don't really think it needs explaining why I included the poster for G.I. Joe: The movie but for those of you that dot know this movie straight up sets up a crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe. This is to me such a cool idea because both worlds wouldn't need changing in order to explain the other and not only that but the thought of the combinations that you could have in this new crossover movie is more then enough to get me excited for this crossover and the fact that it could actually be the first actually good G.I. Joe live action movie only makes this crossover all the more better.
What I wasn't expecting in this movie was for them to actually kill of Bumblebee which is something that I didn't like. I didn't like it as it added nothing to the overall plot of the film and due to he previous films taking place after this film we know that he eventually comes back to life and so all drama that could have been had from that scene is now lost because we know how it's going to end up which only makes me wonder why they chose to include it in this film as it's something that could have been cut out from the film and nothing that's really of value would have been lost from the actual plot of the film at all.
I will admit that Unicron is handled alot better in this film then he was in Transformers: The Las Knight but he was sill a rather forgettable villain. This is due to the fact that he hardly appears in the film and when he does appear he just acts like a stereotypical villain with his main goal in this film not really being made all that clear as all it is is something about eating planets and that's really it which granted does make him more of an interesting villain then what he was in Transformers: The Last Knight but he's still a rather forgettable villain.
Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty six minuets and thirty seconds. Which is a tad bit on the short side for this film as it means that alot of things that should get explained like what is the new device which yes they do mention in the film they don't go into that much detail about it and it's the same thing with all of the new characters and as such all of the new characters just come across as being very note but on the plus side tho this film does have some good pacing to it.
So now then since this is an action film that means that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us i this very film was in all honesty really good. With this films best action sequence being the one where Bumblebee dies just because of the fact that it's a really fun action sequence and that's what an action scene should be in a Transformers movie.
SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!
Overall this film isn't all that good but at the same time people don;t need to worry about the films low critics score either as this is a perfectly serviceable film and nothing more then that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means hat this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.
Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Transformers Movie fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being obviously Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
