Black Adam Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

 

Comic book fans the DCEU has been much dormant for the last few years with various projects getting either delayed or just straight up cancelled. Well now one of those DCEU projects has been released and well you all know that I just had to check this film the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the film that ushers in a new era of the DCEU with the film in question being called simply just "Black Adam" enjoy.

The plot of this film is after a mythical crown is found and a mythical hero is reived a group of heroes arrive to take on a new villain. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty very weak and was overall the worst aspect of this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is one of this films producers Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Teth-Adam / Black Adam. Also starring in this film is Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall / Hawkman , Noah Centineo as Albert "Al" Rothstein / Atom Smasher , Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz , Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael Gregor / Sabbac , Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel / Cyclone , Bodhi Sabongui as Amon Tomaz and Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson / Doctor Fate.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us  in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films cast doing the best that the can do to make this films script work for them the issue is that this films script gives this films cast nothing to work with interms of what there characters personality is in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this film is Digital Domain , Double Negative , Legacy Effects , Lola Visual Effects , Scanline VFX and Weta Digital. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films CGI at times looking pretty bad but at times looking really good as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

At somepoint earlier this week it was rumoured that Henry Cavill was going to be making an appearance as Superman in this film. Well then after seeing this film I can now finally say believe the rumours because it is true he does make appearance in this film in this films mid-credits scene it's a short scene but here's hoping that we now get to see a Superman Vs Black Adam movie as that would be really worth seeing in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

To me this film feels alot more like a JSA movie then it does a Black Adam movie since we get to spend alot more with the JSA characters then we do with Black Adam. Heck Black Adam himself plays no part in the films very weak plot with him only doing what the other characters tell him to do and as such he comes across as being a secondary character in his own movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Just to continue on with what I was just talking about it's the JSA characters that go through some sort of character development. While Black Adam himself does go though some sort of character development it comes out nowhere where with the JSA you see it coming and it does in it's own way feel earned because it was a fairly well done piece of character development where as with Black Adam because we don't spend that much time with him it doesn't work that well and the fact that it comes out of nowhere doesn't help things out either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty eight minuets and forty four seconds. Which is a huge issue since you can't really tell a good superhero origin story in under two hours and yet for some strange reason Warner Bros. Pictures released a film that's well under two hours this right here just proves Warner Bros. Pictures currently has no idea how to tell a good live action superhero film origin story in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Altho this will sound odd but there was two much action in this film like for example after an action scene where Black Adam takes on the JSA they go right into another action scenes where Black Adam takes on the JSA and it's just two much far to quickly in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this wasn't a bad film but it's a complete and total waste of potential since this film had all of the potential to be a good heck maybe even great superhero movie but it just wasted all of that potential in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then since i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.
