Ghost In The Shell 1995 Film Review

Anime fans right now thanks to anime like My Hero Academia anime as a whole is more popular then it's ever been. However that wasn't always the case since for the longest time anime was kind of this underground thing and well one of the anime to not breakthrough to the mainstream but to influence The Matrix is the film that i'm going to be reviewing for you all today and so then join me as I review the film that like i've just said helped to inspire The Matrix with the film in question being called simply just "Ghost In The Shell" enjoy.

The plot of this film is a mysterious hacker is going round hacking into people and so it's up to Public Security Section 9 to put a stop to this terrorist threat before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being genuinely quite engaging and really rather entertaining as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Mimi Woods as Mj. Motoko Kusanagi , Richard Epcar as Batou and Tom Wyner as The Puppet Master. Also starring in this film is Christopher Joyce as Togusa , William Frederick Knight as Chief Aramaki , Michael Sorich as Ishikawa , Simon Prescott as Chief Nakamura , Richard Cansino as Mizuho Daita , Kevin Seymour as Garbage Collector A and Doug Stone as Garbage Collector B.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty. With this films dub cast turning in some really good performances so much so that actors like Richard Epcar have become the official voices for their characters because that's how good they are in this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the animation for this film is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Production I.G. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this film was in all honesty really good and it's a testament to the animators that the animation that we got in this film really does hold up really well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

The one word that i'd use to describe this film is iconic since there are alot of truly iconic imagery in this film. From Mj. Motoko Kusanagi jumping of the building and she uses her camouflage to hide herself to the final fight this film is chock full to the brim of images that stick with you long after he film is finished and and it helps that all of those iconic scenes really do add to the film and to the world that this film takes place in in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I'm not going to lie and say that this film is a perfect film because it's really not since I personally would have liked if this film focused alot more on the detective side of things. Since that's when the film gets to be really interesting since we get to see the characters working things out and putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together and even tho we d get some of that in this film I would have liked if we got more of that since those were some really interesting scenes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

While I do like that this film does have alot of philosophical speeches I do feel that this film went overboard with those speeches. So much so that it makes the film feel a bit pompous but on the flip side of that it's those speeches that help to make this film feel alot more adult and feel alot more smarter then what it could have been and that really does set this film apart from alot of the other adult animated films in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films running time was I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and twenty two minuets. Which was a bit on the long side for this film simply because of the fact that this film really didn't have alot of story there to cover that running time however with that being said this film couldn't have been shorter just because every scene is vital to the film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is an action that film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really cool. Heck it's the action that gives us one of this films truly iconic moments with Mj. Motoko Kusanagi getting her arm ripped of and it's a scene and an action sequence that still holds up really well all of these years later in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film that still does hold up and it's a film that proves that you don't need nudity to be considered adult since all you need is good writing and that's what this films has in spades in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all really fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
