Thunderbirds Are Go Film Review

British cinema is a strange a wonderful since for every James Bond franchise there's always an adaptation of some strange TV show. Well the film that i'm going to review for you all today is one that is quite frankly becoming a favourite of mine simply due to how creative it is and so then join me as I review the film that is quite literally just an extended episode of a TV show with the film in question being called simply just "Thunderbirds Are Go" enjoy.

The plot of this film is after a space crew is attacked upon their return to earth it's up to International Rescue to rescue the crew before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad altho it was a very pretty thinly drawn out plot for a feature length film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Peter Dyneley as Jeff Tracy , Shane Rimmer as Scott Tracy and Jeremy Wilkin as Virgil Tracy , Space Colonel Harris and Washington Control. Also starring in this film is Matt Zimmerman as Alan Tracy and A Messenger , David Graham as Gordon Tracy , Brains , Parker and A Glenn Field Police Officer , Ray Barrett as John Tracy , The Hood and Commander Casey , this films co-writer and producer Sylvia Anderson as Lady Penelope and Goldstone Tracking Station , Christine Finn as Tin-Tin Kyrano , Paul Maxwell as Captain Travers , Alexander Davion as Space Captain Martin , Bob Monkhouse as Space Navigator Newman and The Swinging Star Announcer , Neil McCallum as Dr Pierce and Charles Tingwell as Dr Grant , PR Officer , Board Member and Woomera Tracking Station.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films cast members turning in some really in this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film is the very definition of being an extended episode of the show since there's a large amount of time where nothing is happening to advance the actual plot of the film. Not only at but the opening part of the film from beginning to end is one long exposition dumb which lasts six whole minuets and plus the film is filled to the brim with establishing shots that last way longer then what they really need to be and all of this is done just to get the freaking film up to the one hour and thirty minuets mark and nothing more then that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Again in what was most likely done for padding this film also has a dream sequence that adds literally nothing to the plot. Which is a shame because the song that appears in it "Shooting Star" by Cliff Richard and The Shadows is actually a pretty good song and the sequence does have some pretty creative visuals in it it's just a shame that the sequence itself is a really pointless that could be removed from the film entirely and nothing of value would actually be lost at al in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

It's not all bad however as this film does rather rightfully look like a visual improvement from the show that it's based upon "Thunderbirds" with this film showing of it's puppets in ways that they just didn't do within the show itself. Yes there are somethings that could have been better but when your show is already a weekly movie with visuals and storytelling that could ripped right out of a movie there's only so much that you can do to make the movie look even better then the show that it's based of off in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film didn't get alot of positive reviews from critics when it was first released and it's not hard to see why. Since this film offers people nothing new since they could just watch an average episode of of the show and hey basically would have seen this film. Which isn't a good thing since a feature length film should offer something that the TV show can't offer viewers r even fans and when you fail to do that then your not really giving your audience a reason to watch your film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty three minuets and twenty four seconds. Which makes this episode roughly around thirty minuets longer then an average episode of the show and this is where you really do feel this film being an extended episode of the show since this plotline could have been the plot for an episode of the show and film offers no reason as to why this film is as long as it is and so then all your left with is a wafer thin plotline all the while your waiting to see how our heroes save the freaking day in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since IMDB lists this film as an action that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films two rescue sequences being a true standout of the film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is a very good representation of what the show was about but that's also the problem as it gives fans literally nothing new and instead just gives them the same old thing in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all really fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
