Luck Film Review
Animation fans to say that the animation world was shocked when John Lasseter was fired from PIXAR would be a huge understatement. However the man that gave the three best Toy Story films is back producing a new animated feature length film and well then I have to say that this is a film that I did straight up forget was coming out today and so then join me as I review the film that is all about luck with the film in question being called simply just "Luck" enjoy.
The plot of this film is Sam a human with alot of bad luck finds herself trapped in a world that's full of good luck and has fix an issue that effects humans in the human world. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films main plot being genuinely quite engaging and rather refreshing and entertaining as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Starring in this film is Eva Noblezada as Sam Greenfield , Simon Pegg as Bob and Jane Fonda as Babe The Dragon. Also starring in this film is Whoopi Goldberg as The Captain , Flula Borg as Jeff , Lil Rel Howery as Marvin , Colin O'Donoghue as Gerry , John Ratzenberger as Rootie , Grey Griffin as Mrs. Rivera , Kwaku Fortune as Gael , Adelynn Spoon as Hazel , Moe Irvin as Phil The Pig Foreman and Fred Tatasciore as Quinn and Fred.
Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With all of this films cast doing their best to make this films script work however they just can't make this films pretty bad script work well enough for them in their favour in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Doing the animation for this film is the new animation studio that is called simply just Ilion Animation Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films animation being on par with some of the bad PIXAR movies but this films character design and art style being on par with the earlier PIXAR films interms of quality in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
I'm just going to come right out and say it this film is so much better then Lightyear simply because of the fact that this film is not only an entertaining film. It's also a film that's alot closer to how PIXAR should be then what Lightyear was since this film puts alot of attention and care into getting us to actually care about it's characters which is something that Lightyear failed to do in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Without giving anything away this film this film tries and fails to be like a certain segment from the film Up. Which worked well enough in that film because that film gave you the chance to get to know the characters but it doesn't work in this film because we don't get to spend any time with the characters and so since it happens off screen and we don't get to know the characters that emotional gut punch that should have freaking been there just simply can't freaking be there in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Continuing the trend that is present in alot of the more modern PIXAR films is the fact that this film really doesn't have a villain. Which I found to be rather refreshing simply because of the fact that this films story really didn't demand that a villain be in he film and so forcing a villain into a story where one really isn't needed would ultimately do alot more harm then it does good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty five minuets and twenty four seconds. Which was the absolutely perfect running time for this film to last as it really doesn't have enough there in terms of either plot or story to cover anything that's anywhere even close to being two hours long as that would have been stretching an already thin story even thinner then what it is currently in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
So now then since this is comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With alot of this films jokes getting a genuine laugh out of me and heck alot of this films jokes feel like the type of jokes that you'd see in alot of the older and classic PIXXAR movies in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Overall while yes this film does have alot of problems for a newly formed studio like Skydance Animation to come out with a film that's this good on it's first attempt is a good thing indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and that means that this very film erns itself a grand of score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.
Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very film well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and the official PIXAR fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
