Thor: The Dark World Film Review

 

Marvel fans we are now but about a week away from the release of yet another new Marvel film and well I thought that now was the right tine to talk about a film that lets face we all forgot was even a thing. Since yeah nobody talks about this film be it in either a positive or even a negative way and so then join me as I review that is quite possibly the most forgettable Marvel film with the film in question being called simply just "Thor: The Dark World" enjoy.

The plot of this film is the nine realms are in danger from the Dark Elves and so then Thor and Loki are forced to team up to save the nine realms once and for all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's  actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being quite engaging and as well as quite entertaining in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Chris Hemsworth as Thor , Natalie Portman as Doctor Jane Foster and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Also starring in this film is Sir Anthony Hopkins as King Odin , a woefully underused Christopher Eccleston as Malekith , Jaimie Alexander as Sif , Zachary Levi as Fandral , Ray Stevenson as Volstagg , Tadanobu Asano as Hogun , Idris Elba as Heimdall , Rene Russo as Queen Frigga , Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Algrim / Kurse , Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis and Stellan Skarsgård as Doctor Erik Selvig.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty OK at best. With all of this films main cast doing the best with what little this script gives them to work with it's just ashame then that this films script gives these actors nothing to work with in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this film is Double Negative , Luma Pictures , Blur Studio , Method Studios , Whiskytree and Perception. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad and really freaking ugly to look at in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film just like with Terminator  Genisys is really bland and is really forgettable and the reason why I bring up that film is because of the fact that they were both directed by Alan Taylor. Which just goes to prove that this guy can't direct feature films which is a shame because he directed some really good and some really memorable episodes of Game Of Thrones and so we know that he is a decent director but for some strange reason he doesn't bring his A game when it comes to his feature length films in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

The worst thing that any film can be is forgettable and that's sadly what this is it's a very forgettable film. Simply because of the fact that there's nothing interesting or even entertaining that happens in this film and so it just comes across as a rather bland Marvel movie made by someone who clearly doesn't know how to freaking direct a movie which isn't a good thing at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

Marvel at this point in time had a history of creating really bad villains for it's movies and sadly that is also the case for Malekith. Who is just so bland and forgettable that you might as well as call him Marvel Villain 7890 because there's nothing about this villain that makes him interesting and when you have an actor like Christopher Eccleston who is a good actor struggling to make this character memorable then you know that you've messed up in some way shape or form in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty two minuets and three seconds. Which might be this films saving grace as it means you don't have to sit through this mess of a film for that long but sadly it also means that plot points come across as being rather rushed and as such this film would have benefitted if it was well over two hours long in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this film is an action film and so then that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty rather bland. Since there really isn't anything cool or exciting happening in this films many action sequences which is not a good thing at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall no matter how bad Thor Love And Thunder ends up being it can't be as bad as this film because this film is just a bland and a rather forgettable mess of a film to behold in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.
