Jackass 3D Film Review
3D is a gimmick that's been around for a really freaking long time in smaller doses and so then when the 3D gimmick was getting very freaking popular again in 2010 you just know that the Jackass boys had to make there third movie in 3D. So then join me as I review the film that was a long while the final ever film to feature the entire cast of the Jackass TV show with the film in question being called simply just "Jackass 3D" enjoy.
As pretty all of you will know by now the Jackass TV show had no plotline to speak of what so freaking ever ad the movies followed suit. Which is actually a smart thing because both the movies and the TV show is about a bunch of stupid doing a bunch of stupid to each other and well then if this film did have a plotline it would get in the freaking way of all of that in that in my personal freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Starring in this film is the franchises co-creator and one of this films producers Johnny Knoxville and one of this films co-producers Bam Margera. Also starring in this film is Steve-O ,the late Ryan Dunn , Jason "Wee Man" Acuña , Preston Lacy , Chris Pontius , Danger Ehren , Dave England Loomis Fall , Brandon Novak , April Margera and Phil Margera , the franchises co-creator and one of this films producers and this films director Jeff Tremaine and the franchises co-creator and one of this films co-producers Spike Jonze.
Now then as perusal there alot of cameos in this film with this film featuring some cameos from Mike Judge as the voices of Beavis and Butt-Head. With some more of this films cameos coming from the likes of The Dudesons , Erik Ainge , Jared Allen , Josh Brown , Rivers Cuomo , Brian Bell , Scott Shriner , Andy Bell , Erik Roner , Tommy "Streetbike Tommy" Passemante , Seann William Scott and of course the late and great Rip Taylor.
So now then just like with Jackass Number Two this film also got a straight to DVD continuation which is called simply just Jackass 3.5. This was film was made because of the fact that there was so much stuff that was shot for this film that they very freaking easily could have made another film just out of that unused footage alone and that's exactly what they did altho why they chose to do it is quite clearly just so that they could make a little bit more money out of the Jackass brand name and franchise in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then this film was of course the last ever feature film to feature the late star Ryan Dunn i'm not going to go into the reasons behind his death as it's something that is fairly well documented. However I will say that even tho this film would ultimately lead to the depression that would ultimately cost him his life you really cannot tell that he's either going to or is even in a dark place in this film but it's still nice to see this man doing what he ultimately loved to do and to do it with the people that he really did freaking love as friends in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.
So now then this film was made to celebrate the tenth year anniversary since the original Jackass TV show first premiered on MTV. As such you do get some recreations or even remakes of some of the more classic stunts which I didn't really like simply because i've always viewed the Jackass crew as being very original when it comes to the content that goes into either the TV show or even the movies and so then to see them recreated stunts seen on the TV show just goes against that entire notion and that isn't a good thing what so freaking ever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then unlike the first film which literally just looks like an episode of the TV show this film on the other hand looks nothing like the TV show. Which for me at least is a great thing because if your doing a filmed adaptation of a TV show then you absolutely need to make sure that there some improvements when it comes to how the film looks visually especially when compared to that of the TV show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
So now then this film had / has an exact running time of exactly one hour and thirty nine minuets and forty four seconds. Which is a tad bit on the long side for a film like this and please keep in mind that this films current freaking running was after they had cut a bunch of stuff which would go onto form Jackass 3.5 and as such I personally really do freaking think / feel that alot of the more unfunnier sketches that are in this film should have been cut out just to help to get to this film to be at the very least one and thirty minuets long in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.
Now then since this film is a comedy film after all then that means that i do infact have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty i in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really freaking good. With alot of this films jokes and or pranks and or even stunts being genuinely really freaking funny which for a comedy film is something that you really want to be the freaking case in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.
Overall while this film is better then Jackass: The Movie was or even is in some respects however it's also worse then Jackass: The Movie was or perhaps even in in other respects as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this film in this very review and as such that means that this film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.
Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very from the official Jackass fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images this film being Google Images this is because all of the images that I got and that currently up , featured and on Google Images are all very fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being fairly freaking being fairly freaking high in freaking definition.
