Jackass: The Movie Film Review
Back in the year 2000 there was one show that really did take the world over and next week that very same show is releasing it's fourth movie. As such I thought that now was the right time to check the very first film in this still on going franchise and so join me as I review the film that really did have alot of us teenagers back in 2002 laughing like there's no tomorrow with the film in question being called simply just "Jackass: The Movie" enjoy.
As with the show this film and literally anything that's to do with this brand this film has no plotline to speak of whatsoever. Which while that might be a bad thing for most films given the very nature of this film and of this franchise however this film not having a plotline whatsoever is not only on brand for this franchise but it also really does work well enough in this films freaking favour in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Starring in this film is this producer , one of this films many co-writers and the franchises co-creator Johnny Knoxville , Bam Margera nd the late Ryan Dunn. Also starring in this film is Steve-O , Jason "Wee Man" Acuña , Chris Pontius , Preston Lacy , Dave England , Ehren McGhehey , Loomis Fall , Stephanie Hodge , Brandon DiCamillo , Raab Himself , Rake Yohn , this films director , producer and the franchises co-creator Jeff Tremaine , this films producer and the franchises co-creator Spike Jonze , April Margera and Phil Margera.
This film also features many cameo appearences with the people that are making cameo appearences in this film being Jess Margera. Also making cameo appearences in this film are , Manny Puig , Gary Hagland , Jack Polick , Dorothy Barnett , the late Rip Taylor , Tony Hawk , Clyde Singleton , Eric Koston , Mat Hoffman , Mike Kassak , Naoko Kumagai , Butterbean , Jason "J2" Rasmus , Henry Rollins and George Hruska.
So now then as alot of would know this film is being adapted from the hugely popular 2000's show of the same name. With this film literally just being a literally extended episode of the show which in this case is kind of what I expected to be the case since the show is pretty just stunts anyways and so with the show being turned into a movie of course the movie is just going to be a much more ruder and cruder extended episode episode version of the show in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.
Now then this film is the only film that's in the Jackass film franchise that actually doesn't have .5 film to accompany it. Which is rather weird because literally all of main Jackass films all have .5 straight to DVD film as well and this is a tradition that will actually continue with the release of Jackass 4.5 which is ironically getting a Netflix release which weird since Jackass was an MTV program and Paramount Pictures whom owns MTV have made and produced all of the over Jackass movies and so it would have been alot more freaking easier for them to make this up and coming available and Paramount+ rather then Netflix in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.
So now then I cannot recommend this film to anybody whom has a weak stomach or is that very freaking easily offended because alot of stuff that's in this film that will make you want to hurl and there is quite alot of stuff that's in this film will shock and possibly even offend you all. Which to me at least is a very good thing because it adds even more realism to this film and that in turns helps make this film come across as being even more funnier then what it actually freaking is in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then this film did the best it could with actually looking like a feature length movie and not with just looking like just another episode of the show. However tho since this film was a very freaking low budget film it looks and feels exactly like the show and not like a feature length movie which kind of goes against the whole point of doing a theatrically released feature length filmed version of the show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
So now then while I cannot remember what this films exactly grand total running time was I do know that this film an exact rough running of exactly roughly one hour and twenty five minuets. Which either way is a bit of a long time for something that is basically just a feature length episode of the show and as such this film does come across as being both repetitive and thus boring as all heck in some parts in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Now then this film is a comedy film after all and so then that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really freaking good. With alot of what the guys do to each other and themselves for that matter being genuinely really freaking funny in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Overall this film is such a funny film but at the exact same time it's also a film that I can't really recommend to people just simply due to how extreme this film gets at times but at the exact same time tho this film is still a pretty freaking funny to watch in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.
Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Jackass fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images this film being Google Images this is because all of the images that I got and that currently up , featured and on Google Images are all very fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being fairly freaking being fairly freaking high in freaking definition.
