Paw Patrol: The Movie SPOILER FREE!!!!!!!!!! Film Review
Animation fans we are now currently / presently living in a time where where it seems like every single animated TV show is getting a feature length film adaptation regardless of it's really. Warranted or not and well the newest animated movie that's based off of an animated kids TV show has just been released and so join me as I review the film that really didn't need to be made at all with the film in question being called simply just "Paw Patrol: The Movie" enjoy.
Now then here is where I would very normally tell you what the plot of the film is and as well as give you my thoughts and opinions on the plot of the film in question. However the makers of this film chose not to give this film any kind of plot whatsoever heck I spent almost the entirety of this film running time wondering what the actual story of this film was and what the actual plot of this film freaking was.
Starring in this film is Young Sheldon star Iain Armitage as Chase , Marsai Martin as Liberty and Ron Pardo as Mayor Humdinger and Cap'n Turbot. Also starring in this film is Yara Shahidi as Kendra Wilson , Kim Kardashian as Delores , Randall Park as Butch , Dax Shepard as Ruben , Tyler Perry as Gus , Jimmy Kimmel as Marty Muckraker , Will Brisbin as Ryder , Keegan Hedley as Rubble , Lilly Bartlam as Skye , Kingsley Marshall as Marshall , Callum Shoniker as Rocky and Shayle Simons as Zuma.
Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the acting that's / that is / featured / presented to us in this very film / movie in all honest I in all honesty thought that the movie that's / that is featured / presented to us in this very film / movie was OK at best. This is simply because / due to the fact that alot of the actors and actresses that are starring / appearing in this film aren't that good actors or actresses in my opinion anyways / at least and plus the script for this film gives the actors nothing to work with in terms of character or what their respective characters personality and so all of the actors and actresses that are starring / appearing in this film can't give good or even great performances because of the fact that this films script simply won't allow them to do so but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways / at least.
Doing the animation for this film is Mikros Animation who as far as I can tell apart from providing the animation for Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie , Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run haven't really done anything of note when it comes to animated films. Now then as for what I personally thought / felt about the animation that's featured / presented to us in this film / movie in all honesty I in all honesty thought that the animation that's featured / presented to us in this very film / movie was shockingly really good i'm not going to say that the animation that's in this very film was PIXAR level of quality because it in all honesty wasn't but at the same time even if you've just seen clips of show like I have you can quite clearly see that this film got a huge visual upgrade.
To put it freaking bluntly this film is nothing more then an extended episode of the show and nothing more then that and as such there is absolutely no reason for anybody to either pay to see this film in the theatres / cinemas or to pay to see this film up and on Paramount+ because if you just watch one single episode of the show then you've seen movie. Which in all honesty is a shame because this does at least try to do things that they perhaps couldn't do / have done in the show but the script just isn't even close to being strong enough to support the new things that this film does that like I just said perhaps couldn't do / have done in the show in my opinion anyways / at least.
Now then I know that it sounds like that i'm being a bit harsh on this film since after all this film is made for and is aimed at very little little kids but tho i'm being harsh / hard on this films because kids films can be better and because kids deserve better films and better TV shows then this film and this is something that I feel very strongly about. Since every single animation and cartoon fans knows of a kids film that is really good and so to see a kids animated film struggle to even be average is infuriating because all kids films could more importantly should be good films.
Now then as to be expected this film is nothing more then a freaking giant advert / commercial for the Paw Patrol: The Movie toy line because you just know that there's going to be a bunch of toys made from this movie. Heck there were even several points in this film / movie where I went "that's a toy" or "that's toy playset" and so the film doesn't attempt to hide the fact that they are trying to sell you the toys for the movie that you are currently watching and heck all of this films main hero / heroic characters get make others and other new things that you just no is going to be made into a toy to promote this film / move and it's clear as freaking day in my opinion anyways / at least.
Now then this film had / has a grand running time of exactly one hour and twenty six minuets exactly and well this film struggled / couldn't even make that running time. Since this film like I said at the freaking start of this freaking review has to plot or no story to speak of and so it feels like the whole film is just constantly on repeat until we reach the for some strange reason epic finale and that makes the film feel oddly boring since your just watching a different version of something that you just watched five freaking minuets ago in the exact same film in my opinion anyways / at least.
Now then this film is meant to be a comedy and so that means that I sadly have to actually talk about the actual comedy / jokes that are featured / presented to us in this very film and well if i'm being well and truly freaking honest here people the comedy / jokes that are featured / presented to us in this film are OK at best. This is simply because of the fact that for every good or even slightly funny joke that this film tells it very quickly follows it up with one or two jokes that aren't funny but hey maybe the very little little kids who this film was made for and who this film is aimed at will find this film to be freaking hilarious as all heck but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways / at least.
Overall if you have to choose between watching this film or The Loud House Movie choose / pick The Loud House Movie since that film is very easily alot better then this film can ever even hope to be but at the same time I can very easily see little little kids liking this film tho but the adults who are showing the kids this film tho will have a very hard time in finding that much to like about this film tho in my opinion anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and that means that this film gets a grand score old of a 4 out 10 from me.
Now then as for where I got all of the images that I used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Paw Patrol fandom wiki page , the official Postman Pat fandom wiki page , the official The Loud House fandom wiki page and from Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images this film being the official Paw Patrol fandom wiki page this is because all of the images that I got and that currently up / featured and on the official Paw Patrol fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly high in definition.
