A Futile and Stupid Gesture Review

Hey there movie fans Netflix has had a very mixed record when it comes to there movies but there was something about this movie that drew me in so here is my review of A Futile And Stupid Gesture.

The story basically follows National Lampoon co-creator Doug Kenney as helps create the magazine and later on the films. Yeah that's all i could give you in terms of the plot but at the same time it's also the most accurate way to describe the film it's really something you have to watch in order to fully understand.

The film has so many stars that if i were to name them all i'd be here until the end of time so here are only a few of the names in this movie Will Forte , Martin Mull , Domhnall Gleeson , Seth Green , Matt Lucas , Natasha Lyonne and Emmy Rossum. Like i said there's alot of people in this movie but the one's i've selected are not only really good in the movie but they all at times give a funny performance.

In all honesty i had no clue as to what to expect from this movie so I was surprised by how true to life some of the events told in the movie were especially the great third act twist which was not only movie but also really funny and clever.

As i'm sure i've mentioned by now this film is really funny with jokes ranging from being dumb yet enjoyable to being really smart like i said there's the great third act twist which is really funny and there's alot of fourth wall breaks as well bottom line this film is really funny.

There's not really much i can say about the film just due to how bizarre it is but at the same I kinda love it due to how strange it is but I will say this I like the fact that the film went to the trouble of recreating scenes from both Caddyshack and Animal House.

Overall i'd say log into Netflix and watch this movie and i'm sorry that this review is so short but i've said all i could about this movie so go and check it out and I can't bring myself to rate it so no rating.
