The Jungle Book Spoiler Free Review

Ok guys i have just got back from watching The Jungle Book and you know what i freaking loved it it was such a good well made film.

The story of this film is the exact same as the original but what makes this film stand out is the fact that it is more like the original book the book was dark as hell and so was the first draft of the original animated feature but this one is the one that is truest to it but what is interesting is that this book also borrows scenes from the second jungle book book called The Second Jungle Book but they work so well in this film that you could have swore it was apart of the first one.

The cast in this film is just insane voicing the animals we have Bill Murray as Baloo , Ben Kingsley as Bagheera , Idris Elba as Shere Khan , Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha , Scarlett Johansson as Kaa , Giancarlo Esposito as Akela and Christopher Walken as King Louie and from the human side of things we have Neel Sethi as Mowgli who is truly fantastic in this film even tho he is a kid actor he does a great job which is even more remarkable when you realise he is basically acting on his own because everything else is CGI not even adult actors can do that and this kid does it with ease.

Idris Elba and Bill Murray also turn in great performances personally i thought since the second trailer that Idris was perfect as Shere Khan he just has this great voice that instantly makes him threatening and the opposite end of the scale we have Bill Murray he is pitch perfect as Baloo he even gets most of if not all of the laughs in this movie when was the last time you was able to say that about Bill Murray but in this movie he is really good and does a great version of The Bare Necessities even Christopher Walken does a pretty good version of I Wan'na Be Like You and is good as King Louie.

The effects in this movie are so freaking good it honestly looks like they went to a real life jungle to film the movie and the animals looks fantastic they act and look like the species there meant to be and each creature looks fantastic it honestly looks like they were really there.

The music for this film is really fantastic they not only pay homage to the original film by including to that films song (even tho one of them has reworked lyrics) the music really sets the scene for the whole film and the two songs are really great.

overall guys this film is so worth watching if your a fan of the original Disney version or even if you didn't grow up with that film i would still say go and watch this film because it is that good for me this film is easily a 9 out of 10.
