Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver Film SPOILER FREE Film Review

Sadly it's now not uncommon for a film to now become a two part film regardless of if the film needs to be two part film or not. With the ;latest film to follow this trend having just been released and while most two part films would have been released a year or two after the release of part one this film was released mere months after the first part was released and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE review of the film that sees one part of a story come to an end with the film in question being called simply just "Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Kora and the surviving warriors have to prepare the people of Veldt to fight against The Motherworld. Now the  interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as the plot of this film wasn't all that good either with the plot of this film being thin at best with the plot just coming and going as and when it pleases and while granted this is an original story for the most part alot of this films plot just feels ripped off from The Magnificent Seven only it's being set in space with the pot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Sofia Boutella as Kora , Djimon Hounsou as Titus and Ed Skrein as Atticus Noble. Also starring in this film is Michiel Huisman as Gunnar , Doona Bae as Nemesis , Ray Fisher as Darrian Bloodaxe , Krypton , Supergirl and Games Of Thrones star Staz Nair as Tarak , Fra Fee as Regent Balisarius , Elise Duffy as Millius , Sir Anthony Hopkins as The Voice Of Jimmy , Alfonso Herrera as Cassius , Stuart Martin as Den , Rhian Rees as The Queen , Charlotte Maggi as Sam and Cary Elwes as The King.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acing that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty i in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of this films cast really turn in some really solid performances at least from the actors that you expect a good performance like Anthony Hopkins for example but at the same time alot of this films cast like Ray Fisher for example just turn in some really bland and wooden performances with this stinging all the more as we know for a fact that they can turn in good performances thanks to seeing them do so in other films and yet in this film it just felt like that they were phoning in their performance at best or were just lost and unsure of what to do at worst either is a problem that this films co-writer , producer and director Zack Snyder should have fixed on the day of filming and yet he for some reason chose not to do so with the acting in this film not really being helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so bad as gives none of the cast absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does bring down the overall quality of the acting in this film.

Doing the CGI for this film is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at Mammal Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the CGI in this film being alot better then what it really had right to be as on paper the CGI in not only this film but also the previous film really shouldn't have been that good as they were done by a really unknown effects studio and yet because of the fact that this CGI team had something to prove to us the audience they really did bring out there a game and gave us not one but two films that had some really good looking CGI effects in them and while the CGI in this film could have been alot better compared to what the more well known studios have been giving us recently the effects in this film come across as being ten times better then what they really did have any right to be.

To be frank this film and the previous film really didn't need to be a two part film as there's no reason to split the films up. As every single good two part film only tell stories that could only be told in two parts with Dune: Part Two being a very good example of that and with this film and the previous film you could very easily tell the overall story of the films in one film and yet for some reason the makers of this film chose to split it up even tho there's no justifiable reason for them to do so other then they get to get a small subscriber boost when the new films come out and that's really it and what makes this even worse is the fact that we're also getting two three hour extended editions which makes the whole idea of splitting the story up into two films seem even really more pointless then what it already is as they where already planning to release an extended cut to begin with which makes you wonder why they even bothered to split the story up in the first place if they where going to release two extended cuts of both films later on in this very year anyways.

To give this film credit it does a solid job of wrapping up the plot of these first two films in a way that feels natural and organic. However that really doesn't take away from the fact that the films characters aren't as fully developed as they really should have been which is something that really does come into effect during the films more emotional moments as we the audience aren't given a reason to care for any of these characters and yet when the film does give us these more emotional moments be they for happy and joyous reasons or not all we feel is nothing as the characters aren't that fully developed as characters as we the audience aren't given a reason to care of either of thee characters with all of the characters at best only being given one singular personality trait and at worst are just given the personality of a plank of wood and as a result of that is the fact that all of the films more emotional moments don't work as well they really should have done as the audience aren't given a reason to care for this films characters.

While there are other films in this franchise being developed Zack Snyder now has the time to actually sit down and listen to what people are saying about this film and the previous film and hopefully correct it when it comes to future films. This does seem unlikely to happen tho as the scripts for a few of them have been completed and are good to go but it is something that could still happen and one of those things that should get fixed is giving us a good villain and being less lore heavy as this is a new franchise and as a result of that is the fact that the lore is still being developed and yet both of these films are really heavy on lore as for the villain issue the villain just isn't that good of a villain as he's attacking this one planet just to get there food and that's really it this is despite the fact that he works for extremely powerful people and would therefor have no need to steel the food of off other people with what could have been a better plan being the fact the fact that he's going around destroying planets that don't agree with that world's strict government ruling this would give us a good need for there to be resistance instead of one just forming for no reason and it would make the films main villain all the more interesting then what he already is.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and three minuets and fifty four seconds. Which is a short amount of running time for a Zack Snyder film to have and it really does show as this film really should have bee alot longer then what it already is as even tho this film really does have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time the film still feels like it's really incomplete all of which make it seem like that this film was being edited with the extended cut in mind when it really shouldn't have been the case if it is true and if not then it really does make you wonder why the film  really is as short as it is as alot of things that happen in this film really come out of nowhere almost as if there are scenes missing where as the opposite is usually true for any Zack Snyder film with this film having some really bad pacing to it tho as well.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I ave to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which is nothing new when you take into account that this film is directed , written and produced by Zack Snyder who really does know how to direct his action scenes in all of his movies with the same thing also being true for this film as even tho he makes use of quite alot of slow motion in this film all of this films actions scenes are really good with alot of them being really exciting action scenes that are just filled to the brim with alot of really cool moments in all of them and while this films action scenes do look visually bland that doesn't stop them from being just cool to watch in this very film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is one that really didn't need to be made as it's a film that could have finished it's story at the end of the first film and while this film can indeed be fun to watch during it's action sequences the rest of the film just isn't as that good to watch or even sit through for that matter in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Harry Potter fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Cm and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images this film being Google Images this is because really all of the images that I really got and that are all really currently up and on the great Google Images are all being really fairly high in quality and as well as them all really being fairly high in definition.
