Beauty And The Beast 2017 Film Review

Live action Disney remakes alot of us myself included hate them and yet for some strange reason not only do they keep on getting made they also keep on making money. With alot of these live action Disney remakes just straight up copying the story of the original sometimes even word for word with one of th biggest offenders of this being the film that i'm about to review for you all today and so then join me as I review the film that is really just as pointless and just as soulless as all of the other live action Disney remakes out there with the film in question being called simply just "Beauty And The Beast" enjoy.

The plot of this film is a young girl must fall in love with a beast before the last petal of a rose falls turning the beast and his servants a beast and objects forever. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / resented to us in this very film was really bad as all it was was a straight up copy of the original films plot but with all of the heart and soul taken out of it so much so that all we are left with is a soulless and pointless mess of a film that doesn't understand why the original's plot worked so well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Emma Watson as Belle , Dan Stevens as The Beast , Luke Evans as Gaston and Kevin Kline as Maurice. Also starring in this film is Josh Gad as LeFou , Ewan McGregor as the voice of Lumière , Stanley Tucci as the voice of Cadenza , Audra McDonald as the voice of Madame De Garderobe , Gugu Mbatha-Raw as the voice of Plumette , Hattie Morahan as Agathe , Nathan Mack as the voice of Chip , Sir Ian McKellen as the voice of Cogsworth and Dame Emma Thompson as the voice of Mrs. Potts.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all  honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that good. Which in this case isn't the fault of the actors and actresses as alot of them have been in good stuff before and after this film and so we know that they can turn in good performances it's just that the script gives this films cast absolutely nothing to work with interms of what their respective characters personalities even are and so they can't turn in a good performance as this films script really just won't allow for it.

Doing the CGI for this film is Digital Domain , BOT VFX , Framestore , Lola Visual Effects , Method Studios and Beaver House Studios. Now then interms of what I what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty awful for the most part for while there are one or two good looking effects in this film those are very few and far between with the CGI in this film being nightmareishly bad with both The Beast and Mrs. Potts being the best examples for just how bad this films CGI really well and truly is.

I could talk about how in the song Belle Belle herself isn't the only one that's wearing blue and thus she doesn't stand out she bends in. However I found something else that I hated in this musical number and that's the fact for the so called only bookworm in town Belle is barely seen actually reading her book and so the lyric "She has her nose stuck in book" doesn't make any sense because we can see as clear as day that she doesn't have her nose stuck in book compare this to the 1991 original Belle from when she gets a new book to the end of that musical number is seen always reading her book and so we get across that she likes to read and yet she's still a where of her surroundings where as the Belle in this film just comes across as being uncaring and not a bookworm.

The songs in this film where for me a very hit and miss affair which is a shame because the great Alan Menken writing new songs for this film. With those new songs being pretty good with the Beasts new solo song "Evermore" being the best of the bunch but alot of the songs including the songs from the original just aren't sung that well with Emma Watson being the best example of terrible singing as all of her singing is auto-tuned to the high heaven and so what might have been beautiful singing instead sounds robotic and the less said about Dame Emma Thompson's attempt to sing "Beauty And The Beast" the better because she cannot sing at all.

One of the things that made no sense to me is the fact that they redeem LeFou for some strange and unknown reason reason. Which makes no sense as it comes out of nowhere with very little to no build up and yet we the audience are just meant to cheer when he saves Mrs. Potts near the end of the film and so it just doesn't work at all if they wanted to redeem his character then they should have built this up alot better then what they did as all they did in this film is give him one or two lines of dialog and song and that's it but they become lost as they don't tell us anything about why LeFou is changing sides all of a sudden.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and nine minuets and sixteen seconds. Which makes this film well over thirty minuets longer then the original film this is despite the film telling the exact same story with the film adding in scenes that add nothing to the overall plot of the film and would have better of cut from the final cut of the film but for whatever reason they ended up in the final cut of the film and all they do is just bog the film down with pointless scenes with those scenes just being in there so they could get this film to come in at over two hours and that's it with this film not really being helped by the films pretty bad pacing.

So now then since this is a romance film that means that I have to talk about the actual romance that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual romance that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad for the most part. As the two characters do have chemistry with each other with the same thing also being true for the actors as well but it could have been done alot better if they put more effort into making the romance in this film feel alot more believable then what they actually do in the final cut of the film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is a dreadful live action remake of a film that didn't need remaking as this film is already dated and it's not even been ten years since it was first released where as the original was and will always be a timeless classic that will be loved by generations and for generations to come in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being the official Disney fandom wiki page since alot if not all of the images that are from this film and that are also currently still indeed up and of course on the official Disney fandom wiki page are all really fairly very freaking high in quality and as well as all being really fairly very freaking high in definition.
