The Flash Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

 

There are alot of comic book movies being made these days with some of them being good and others not so much. However the one thing that alot of them have in common is that they nearly all always are based of off really popular comic book characters well one of the most fairly unknown characters at  least when it comes to main stream audiences has just released his first ever live action solo movie and so then join me as I give my SPOILER FILLED review the movie that might really just be the most controversial movie and comic book movie of the year with the film in question being called simply just "The Flash" enjoy.

The plot of this movie is when he goes back in time to prevent the death of his mother Barry Allen finds himself trapped a new dimension and must find away to get back to his own dimension. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film wasn't that bad with the plot being really entertaining and very engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash , Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl and Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne / Batman. Also starring in this film is Michael Shannon as General Zod , Ron Livingston as Henry Allen , Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen , Kiersey Clemons as Iris West , Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth , Saoirse-Monica Jackson as Patty Spivot , Rudy Mancuso as Albert Desmond and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this film rightfully getting alot of praise for the performances in this film as they are really good but that's to be expected as this film s made up of alot of really good actors and actresses and so they are of course going to turn in some really good performances in this film as they are a bunch of really good and talented actors and actresses.

Doing the CGI for this film is Clear Angle Studios , Double Negative and the legends and the greats that are currently over at Scanline VFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that' actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty a very mixed bad for me as we did get some decent looking CGI effects in this film but those are very quickly followed up with laughably bad looking CGI effects as well which for a film that's this massive shouldn't really be the case at all.

Very sadly there's no way in heck that I can talk about this film and not talk about the huge legal troubles that star Ezra Miller has gotten himself into. With him being arrested quite a few times when this film was undergoing re-shoots for various and serious crimes including but not limited to harassing a CHILD , reported strangulation and disorderly conduct amongst many other things all of which makes me wonder why he wasn't blacklisted from Hollywood as these are things that we know that he did and yes i'm not using his own personal pronouns because he's lost that right in my book these are things that should have got him blacklisted from Hollywood and heck Johnny Depp was blacklisted for something that he never even did and yet because Ezra Miller uses They/ Them pronouns he gets to keep on acting in big time studio films.

You might have heard this film does feature alot of cameos and well you'd be right as we get cameos from the likes of Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman , Nicholas Cage as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman and rather shockingly George Clooney as Bruce Wayne / Batman. I'll admit that these cameos were rather fun to see especially as George Clooney hasn't reprised his role since 1997 and has even apologized for the film several times but for every could cameo we get several terrible ones with this film using the same technology that used on young Princess Leia in Rogue One to bring back dead actors like Adam West as Bruce Wayne / Batman , George Reeves as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman and Christopher Reeve as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman with them all and Kara Zor-El / Supergirl looking worse then the graphics that are in a late PS2 in game cut scene.

I really didn't like the whole Supergirl and General Zod subplot as it took away from The Flash and it made The Flash feel alot more like a side character in his own movie. This was something that really did bug me as the movie is called The Flash and is not called Supergirl and so people want to see The Flash being thew main character of the movie and so seeing him take a backseat to a character that we haven't seen before now just doesn't make alot of sense as the audience doesn't know this version of Supergirl but they know this version of The Flash.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and fifteen minuets and eighteen seconds. Which is s great running time for this film to have as it really does need alot of that running time to tell it;s story however sadly none of this films running is spent on making General Zod an interesting villain even tho his plan is rather rightfully so the exact same one that he has in Man Of Steel except now switch out Clark for Kara and I will admit that this film does have some really good pacing to it.

So now then since this is an action film that means that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this films best action scene for me either being the fun filled opening action scene or the big third act final battle which makes great use of time travel with both action scenes being very fun to see in the film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film isn't the greatest comic book movie ever made it's at best a fun movie but it's not on the level of other good or great DC Comics films and for others to say so is just ridiculous in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that means that this film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.
