Raiders Of The Lost Ark Film Review

We are just a few short weeks away from the latest and if the rumors are to be leaved final ever Indiana Jones film. As such I thought that i'd get ahead of alot of people and produce what might be the first of two tie in reviews and well I couldn't think of a better film to review then the film that started it all and so then join me as a I review the film that started the really truly iconic Indiana Jones film franchise with the film in question being called simply just "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when he is tasked with finding a mythical object before the Nazis do archaeologist Indiana Jones finds himself on the adventure of a lifetime. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being very engaging and really entertaining as well but it's odd that Indiana Jones plays no part in the plot of the film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones , Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood and Paul Freeman as René Belloq. Also starring in this film is Ronald Lacey as Major Arnold Toht , John Rhys-Davies as Sallah , Wolf Kahler as Colonel Dietrich , Don Fellows as Col. Musgrove , William Hootkins as Major Eaton , George Harris as Simon Katanga , Fred Sorenson as Jock , the debuting Alfred Molina as Satipo and Denholm Elliott as Marcus Brody.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt abut the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films cast turning in some really good performances with Harrison Ford turning in such a good performance that nobody can picture anybody p;laying Indiana Jones because he's just that good as the character.

Doing the CGI for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Industrial Light & Magic. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was really good for the most part as there some CGI shots that haven't aged as well as others but that's mostly due to the technical limitations of the time.

People think that strong female characters need to be flawless well to those people I say look at Marion Ravenwood. As she's a character who is given plenty of flaws and yet due to her interactions with both Indiana Jones and René Belloq she slowly overcomes those flaws and on top of all of that she's treated as somebody who is just as important to the film as Indiana Jones is himself and because of that we get to see her struggle in a fight scene and we get to see her having to use hr wits to escape certain danger all throughout the film and this makes her a strong female character.

I will admit that the romance between Marion and Indiana Jones was a bit forced as it doesn't really add anything to the plot of the movie. With the romance just feeling more like padding then anything else which is a shame because as a couple these two do work well together and it's clear as day that these two characters do have deep feelings for each other but it's how the romance is handled in the film that really lets it down with the romance just being shoehorned in to the film and not being spoken about by either character.

This film like alot of eighties film really does earn it's PG rating with this film containing alot of really creepy and down right scary scenes. All of which make this movie great as this is what the PG rating was invented for and it helps that those scenes not only feature alot of great looking practical effects that still hold up to this very day but they are also some of the best scenes in this whole entire movie with the scenes actually serving a purpose for the plot and aren't just there just so the makers of the film can say that they have some creepy scenes.

Now then I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films running time even was but I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and fifty minuets. Which is a great running time for this film to have as this film doesn't really have alot their interms of either plot or story to cover a long running time but with that being sad if this film did remove the romance scenes then it would make the film flow alot better and this film does have some really good pacing to it as well.

So now then since is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual actin that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this films action being very entertaining and is filled to the brim with alot of really cool moments that hold up really well of these years later in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is a great start to a franchise that so far has two great films and two really bad films but this film is still so enjoyable all of these years later and it holds up really well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in his very review and as such that means that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Indiana Jones fandom wiki page , the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being obviously Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
