Iron Man Film Review

We are now just a few short days away from the release of the latest TV series to be set within the confides of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As such I could only think of one film that make the absolutely perfect film that would serve as my tie in review as this film does technically feature one of the stars of Secret Invasion TV series and so then join me as I review the film that kick started the juggernaut that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the film in question being called simply just "Iron Man" enjoy.

The plot of the film is when billionaire weapons manufacture Tony Stark gets attacked by a group of terrorists using his own stolen weapons he decides to find out who stole the weapons. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good as it was a plot that was very creative with the story being really well dome and with the films plot also being very entertaining and really engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man and Terrence Howard as James "Rhodey" Rhodes. Also starring in this film is Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger , Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia "Pepper" Potts , Leslie Bibb as Christine Everhart , Shaun Toub as Doctor Ho Yinsen , Faran Tahir as Raza , Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson , Bill Smitrovich as General William Gabriel , Sayed Badreya as Abu Bakaar , Paul Bettany as The Voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. and this films director Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. While it ma be cliche to say that Robert Downey Jr. turns in a great performance in this movie I have to say it because it's true he isn't playing Tony Stark as he simply IS Tony Stark and he plays that role to absolute perfection with the rest of cast also turning some really good performances as well.

Doing the CGI for this film is Industrial Light & Magic , The Embassy , The Orphanage , Prologue Films , CafeFX , Giant Studios , Lola Visual Effects , Media Factory and Scanline VFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty being really good for the most part as their some fairly bad looking CGI effects but those are very few and far between with the film having alot more good CGI effects then bad CGI effects with the good ones having aged really well and the bad ones having aged poorly.

What I never realized before now is that this film sets up Howard Starks involvement in Captain America: The First Avenger. As in this film Tony states that his dad fought na*is during world war 2 which is something that we later see happening in Captain America: The First Avenger that one line of dialog right there just goes to show you that there was a lot of planning and thought put into these early Marvel Cinematic Universe films as it's a line of dialog that they didn't really need to have in the movie but the fact that they did include it just goes to show you that they really wanted to build a universe that felt both real and lived in.

While I will always love this film I do have to admit that there are some faults with the film like for example the character of Rhodey has pretty much nothing to do in this film.Which in one way does make sense as you first have to set up Tony as a hero before you give him another hero to join in him in the fight but at the same time the character just straight up disappears in the films third act and is just forgettable at best in this film which is a shame because when this character does have something to do it is very entertaining.

The other really major thing that I didn't like about this film and this is true for alot of the very early Marvel Cinematic Universe films as well but the character of Obadiah Stane just isn't that interesting of a character. This character should have been a Steve Jobs or a Mark Zuckerberg type of character in that when he's in public he's a showman who is trying to convince people that every things OK and yet in this film they just give a stereotypical business man personality and that just makes him dull and bring not to mention he doesn't really have an evil scheme and so he just comes across as being evil just for the sake of being evil which doesn't make him that interesting or that entertaining of a villain.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films running time even is I do know for a fact that this has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly two hours and one second. Which is a perfect running time for this film to have considering how much it has to set up and still tell a good story and while it would have helped this film out alot of it was longer as then they could have fleshed out Obadiah Stane it would have messed with this films really good pacing as the film would then be longer then what it really needed to be which is something that would do more harm to the film then good.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really cool. While yes the action in the later Marvel Cinematic Universe is also really good the fact that the action in this film still holds up really well all these years just goes to show you jut how good the action well and truly is in this very film as well as how cool this films action is as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is a really fun filled film that kicked started a juggernaut that is still going on all these later even if some of the more recent entries have started to dip in quality quite a bit in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly an 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being obviously the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
