Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones Film Review

Star Wars just today I came to the realization that it's been at the very least a good few years since I last reviewed a film that based in The Skywalker Saga. Well I thought that since I own the complete saga on Blu-Ray that i'd put an end to that by taking a look at the second film in the prequel trilogy and so then join me as I review the film that showed us the origins of an iconic character with the film in question being called simply just "Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones" enjoy.

The plot of this film Jedi master Obi-Wan and his padawan are tasked with projecting Padmé Amidala while I hidden clone army suddenly comes to the Jedi's attention with the threat of an all out war now looming. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being a huge step up from the plot of the first film but with that being said this films plot is still pretty boring as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi , Natalie Portman as Padmé and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. Also starring in this film is Sir Christopher Lee as Count Dooku , Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu , Frank Oz as The Voice Of Yoda , Ian McDiarmid as Supreme Chancellor Palpatine , Pernilla August as Shmi Skywalker , Temuera Morrison as Jango Fett , Jimmy Smits as Senator Bail Organa , Jack Thompson as Cliegg Lars , Leeanna Walsman as Zam Wesell , Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks and Achk Med-Beq , the great Anthony Daniels as The Voice Of C-3PO , Daniel Logan as Boba Fett , Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars , Bonnie Maree Piesse as Beru , Kenny Baker as R2-D2 , Ronald Falk as The Voice Of Dexter Jettster , Jay Laga'aia as Captain Typho , Andrew Secombe as The Voice Of Watto , Oliver Ford Davies as Sio Bibble and Rose Byrne as Dormé.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film in this very film was in all honesty pretty good. With all of the actors that you expect a great performance from well and truly delivering however you also have Natalie Portman and others who just turn in a wooden performance which granted isn't her fault but it's still an issue with this film.

Doing the CGI for this film us of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Industrial Light & Magic. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good even tho there are one or two very dated and very bad looking CGI effects shots in this film those are in the minority and don't represent the overall majority.

This film saw the debut of a fully CGI Yoda which looks so much then the stoner looking puppet Yoda that we got in The Phantom Menace. With this new CGI Yoda it means that we can get to see Yoda doing alot more things that we just couldn't get to see him do in previous films like walking more naturally for example all of which goes a long way to making the character seem alot more real and it also goes a really long way to showing just how technology has come even in the years between episodes 1 and 2.

Unlike with episode 1 there are no boring politics talk in this film however there is a lot of planet hopping which does get confusing after all since alot of the planets do start the look the same. As such I do wish that they at the very least slowed down on all of the planet hopping that they do nit his film or if not do that then at the very least they should have made all of the planets that we get introduced to in this film very vastly different from each other just so that we the audience can have a much easier time of telling each planet apart.

This film does give us the rather unneeded origin story of Boba Fett which just isn't needed as it takes away some of the mystique from this character and it really doesn't add anything to the overall plot of this film. Which is a shame because Boba's backstory is kind of dark it's just not something that we really needed to see in this film and infact this film would have been better if we didn't see it since then it would allow us the audience to make up what his origin story was instead of having told to us out right.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely live of me remember whatever this films running time even was I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly two hours and twenty minuets. Which is  bit on the long side for this film to last simply because when you cut alot of this films filler scenes it really doesn't have alot of story there to cover that large amount of a running time and as such this film does start to feel a tad bit boring in the third act which just seems to go on and on simply because it has all of these plot points to work into it.

So now then since this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films being just as cool as you'd expect it to be and when you add in the fact that this is first film in which we get to Yoda fighting in a great and rather intense action scene then that just makes the action in this film seem all the more better in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this film is quite alot better then episode 1 is this still a pretty bad film but it's one that not only improves upon episode 1 but it also removes the things that we hated about episode 1 and that makes this film all the more entertaining in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Star Wars fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / exact film being the official Star Wars fandom wiki page simply because most of the images that I found and that are currently up on the official Star Wars fandom wiki page are all shockingly high in freaking quality and as well as freaking being shockingly high in freaking definition.
