The Fabelmans Film Review

Film fans there is no director who is more prolific then Steven Spielberg whenever a new movie of his is coming out it's always an event movie no matter what the film's releasing even is. Well then he's just released another brand new movie and well then you all just knew that I had to review this movie the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I review the film that is somewhat a biopic with the film in question being called simply just "The Fabelmans" enjoy.

The plot of this film is a young boy dreams of becoming a filmmaker and he has to deal with all that life throws at him just to try and accomplish his dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films being really refreshing and really well told as well as being genuinely quite engaging and very entertaining as all heck in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Gabriel LaBelle as Samuel "Sammy" Fabelman and Michelle Williams as Mitzi Schildkraut-Fabelman. Also starring in this film is Paul Dano as Burt Fabelman , Seth Rogen as Bennie Loewy , Judd Hirsch as Boris Schildkraut , Julia Butters as Reggie Fabelman , Keeley Karsten as Natalie Fabelman , Sophia Kopera as Lisa Fabelman , Jeannie Berlin as Haddash Fabelman , Robin Bartlett as Tina Schildkraut , Sam Rechner as Logan Hall , Chandler Lovelle as Renee , Gabriel Bateman as Roger , Oakes Fegley as Chad Thomas , Isabelle Kusman as Claudia Denning and Chloe East as Monica Sherwood.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which given that this film is co-written , produced and directed by the great Steven Spielberg really isn't all of that surprising to me as all of his films even his bad ones have some really good acting within them in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film is semi autobiographical with co-writer , producer and director Steven Spielberg drawing from his own life experiences. Chief among which is his love for the film The Greatest Show On Earth which does get featured in this film and I have to admit that after seeing the film in this film it did get me to look up the film to see what it was all about and I love that this director is using a film that he loves in the wat that he uses it in this film since it does show he is a fan of cinema as a whole in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

For me this film is not only just about a boy trying to achieve his dreams of becoming a filmmaker but it's also about a family that goes through alot of struggles. With one of those struggles even being a key plot point for both the mother and son and for the family as a whole which was something that I really liked because not only did it give all of the family alot of things to do but it also made them feel alot more real in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

As with the last film that I reviewed Strange World this film also has family as it's key theme and here it worked. Since all of the family members in this film are presented to us a real people who have real issues which we get to see play out wonderfully and while not all of the family members got alot of time to shine what time that they do get they make the most of it and they really do give us alot of what there personalities really are in those scenes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

While you do get Steven Spielberg's love of old school cinema in this film I personally would loved it if they held of a bit on that love. Since we didn't really need to see the main character making alot of films nor was it really needed to see the character getting better and better equipment alot of which are in scenes that add nothing to the overall plot of the film and as such could have been removed from the film and nothing of value would have been lost from the actual film itself in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and twenty two minuets and eleven seconds. Which for a film like this one that didn't need to be as long as it is was a tad bit on the long side since you very easily could have trimmed out alot of this films fat to get it down to a much more better running time which would have helped to improve upon this films pretty bad pacing since this film does feel alot slower then what it actually is espically in it's second act but then it's third act just goes by super quickly thus making the films pacing feel really uneven in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is a drama that means that I have to actually talk about the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty rather good. With this film having a really good mix between drama and comedy with this films drama being very well handled , directed and acted but not that very well written since one key plot point really does feel quite a bit rushed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film was a rather sweet film and it's one that I very highly recommend this film to alot of film fans since this film really does feel like a love letter to old school films and to old school style of filmmaking as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then since i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are really in this very film in this very review and as such that really dies mean that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all really fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
