The Legend Of Zorro Film Review

Film fans it's not uncommon for a hit film to spawn a sequel just a few short years later however what is odd is when the sequel gets made and then thus released several years after people had already forgotten about the first film in the first place. Well is the what happened with the film that i'm about to review for you all today and so then join me as I review the film that that came out several years to late with the freaking film in question being called simply just "The Legend Of Zorro" enjoy.

The plot of this film is ten years after the events of the first film and California is now close to being the thirty first state but Count Armand plans to blow up the union and so it's up to Zorro to save the day. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty fairly bad with this films plot feeling more like a watered down version of a Zorro plotline in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Antonio Banderas as Don Alejandro De La Vega / Zorro and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Eléna De La Vega. Also starring in this film is Rufus Sewell as Count Armand , Nick Chinlund as Jacob McGivens , Adrián Alonso as Joaquin De La Vega , Julio Oscar Mechoso as Padre Felipe , Shuler Hensley as Pike , Michael Emerson as Harrigan , Leo Burmester as Colonel Beauregard , Tony Amendola as Padre Quintero , Pedro Armendáriz, Jr. as Governor Riley , Giovanna Zacarias as Blanca Cortez and Raúl Méndez as Ferroq.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Which given who is acting in this film and who is directing this film isn't really that much of a surprise at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this film is Peerless Camera Company and a small unknow studio called simply just Digiscope. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but the issue is that it wasn't all that freaking good either in my freaking opinions anyways /at least.

Usually a sequel to a film will come out no later then three years after the original film since the original film would still be fresh enough in everyone's mind. However for some unknown reason the makers of this film chose to wait a whopping seven years to release this sequel which is just pointless because now you don't have the momentum of the first film and so what you have is a sequel that should have been five or six years earlier and not seven years later in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film lacks the harshness and bleakness that helped balance out the first films more fun moments both of which helped to make the first film alot more memorable. As such all we are left with is a film that feels like a more watered down version of the first film which given who is writing this film that's not at all shocking whatsoever which is such a shame because the first films more darker moments helped to make the more fun moments all the more fun and exciting to me in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

For some strange reason the makers of this film chose to make Eléna somebody who is against her husband going out as Zorro. This is despite the fact that they have been married for ten years at this point in time and the fact that her father was also Zorro so this is something that this character would be pretty used to at this point she can show concern for his safety yes but she can't act shocked or surprised when he does freaking go out as Zorro tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely live of me remember this films exact running time I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly two hours and five minuets. Which was a great amount of tine for this film to last but at the exact same time tho when you cut all of this films many subplots you very easily could have had this film come in at around one hour and thirty minuets in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this film is an action film and so then that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty OK at best. Which for a Zorro film isn't a good thing at all and not helping things is the fact that alot of this films action feels like the kind of action that you'd see in a Hollywood stunt show and not a freaking big budgeted feature length film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is an inferior sequel to the first film in every single way and what's sadder is the fact that as of now this is the last Zorro film which is a shame because there are so many great stories that you can tell with this character in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com , the official PIXAR fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
