The Simpsons Movie Film Review

The Simpsons is a franchise that has been going on for decades it this point since it's just nearing the end of it's thirty third season. As such there was bound to be a movie based of off this very successful TV show franchise which we eventually did get not when the franchise was at it's peak in the nineties but when the franchise was starting to dwindle in the mid 2000's and so then join me as I review what is quite possibly the best thing about the modern era of The Simpsons with the film in question being called simply just "The Simpsons Movie" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when the citizens of Springfield find themselves encased in a giant dome it's up to The Simpson family to put things right before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being something that I would expect to see in a Simpsons Movie and not just an extended plot of the TV show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson , Abe Simpson , Krusty the Clown , Groundskeeper Willie , Mayor Quimby , Sideshow Mel , Mr. Teeny , EPA Official , Itchy and Barney Gumble and Julie Kavner as Marge Simpson. Also starring in this film is Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson , Ralph Wiggum , Todd Flanders, and Nelson Muntz , Yeardley Smith as Lisa Simpson , Hank Azaria as Moe Szyslak , Chief Wiggum , Cletus Spuckler , Professor Frink , Apu Nahasapeemapetilon , Lou , Comic Book Guy , Captain McCallister , Bumblebee Man and Dr. Nick , Harry Shearer as Mr. Burns , Smithers , Ned Flanders , Reverend Lovejoy , Lenny , President Arnold Schwarzenegger , Seymour Skinner , Kent Brockman , Dr. Hibbert and Otto Mann , Pamela Hayden as Milhouse Van Houten , Rod Flanders and Jimbo Jones , Tress MacNeille as Medicine Woman , Agnes Skinner , Crazy Cat Lady , Colin and Cookie Kwan and Albert Brooks as Russ Cargill.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which given that that pretty much all of this films voice cast are not only reprising their roles for this film but are all pretty much voice acting legends the fact that this film had some really good acting in it really shouldn't come as a surprise to absolutely anybody whatsoever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the animation for this film is Akom Production Company , Rough Draft Korea , Film Roman Productions and Rough Draft Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films animation getting a huge upgrade from that of the animation that we get in the show which for a movie adaptation of a still ongoing TV show will always be a freaking good thing indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

It was during this most recent screening of the film that I realised that this film is basically a story about a father and his son. Since the relationship between Homer and Bart is given alot of focus on the film and it even plays a crucial part in the films quite frankly epic third act and I can't believe that this was something that I never picked up on before now and it's such a shame that the TV show really hasn't touched upon on the relationship between Homer and Bart as much as they have done with Homer and his father in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Also kind of at the heart of this film is the relationship between Homer and Marge and this is where the film fails for me personally. Since we've seen tons of episodes of the show that have put alot of focus n their relationship and so to it again in the movie just feels like that we're retreading on familiar ground which is a shame because when the film does indeed focus on their relationship the film does get surprisingly emotional and so then it's just a shame then that what there showing us is really nothing that's all of that new in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

To me this film came out about five to ten years to late since this film quite clearly wasn't released when the franchise was at it's prime. Which I get was due to various issues in regards to making the film but even so you really want to release a feature length film of something when that franchise is at it's height in terms of popularity and yet just due to various reasons this film got made and released when the franchise was dwindling interms of popularity and as such alot of people who would have seen this film back in the nineties didn't see this film because of how bad the show itself had gotten at that point in time in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films grand total running time was I do know that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and twenty three to possibly even one hour and twenty six minuets. Which is a pretty solid running time since this film really doesn't have enough there interms of either story or character and so then this film really doesn't need to be that long in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this film is a comedy after all and so then that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Since this film does have an awful alot of really funny moments but at the exact same time tho there some jokes in this film that worked in the past but just don't work now in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is perhaps the best thing to come out of the modern era of The Simpsons and given how long that it took to make this film I can't really see the team rushing to make the sequel whilst the show is still in production in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official The Simpsons fandom wiki page , the official Bob's Burgers fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being obviously the official The Simpsons fandom wiki page since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on the official The Simpsons fandom wiki page are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
