Scoob! Film Review

Scooby-Doo fans it's not very often that we get a theatrically released Scooby-Doo movie with the last one being the film that i'm about to review for you all today. Since it's been two years since I last watched this film and as such I thought that now was the absolutely right time to give this film another watch and so then join me as I review the film that might possibly be starting of yet another cinematic universe with the freaking film in question being called simply just "Scoob!" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Dick Dastardly is trying to kidnap Scooby-Doo and it's up to the Mystery Inc gang to find out why before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film is the first thing that's wrong with this film since this films freaking plotline just freaking doesn't suit the Scooby-Doo franchise at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is a woefully miscast Will Forte as Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers and Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo. Also starring in this film is Gina Rodriguez as Velma Dinkley , Amanda Seyfried as Daphne Blake , Zac Efron as Fred Jones , Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly , Mark Wahlberg as Brian Crown / Blue Falcon , Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Skyes , Ken Jeong as Dynomutt The Dog Wonder and Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty average at best. Since Will Forte even tho he turns in a good performance in this film just doesn't have the right sounding voice for Shaggy and the same thing is true for alot of this films cast in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the animation for this film is Little Zoo Studio and the legends that are currently over at Reel FX Creative Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually  featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty the best thing about his film since this films animation was that good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

One of the things that I really liked about this film is how they managed to work in The Mean Machine from Wacky Races. Since it would have been very easy just to have it show up as a car and yet in this film they found a really creative way to include this iconic vehicle which as a fan of the original Wacky Races that was something that I really did like since you can't have Dick Dastardly without The Mean Machine in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film is alot more focused on shoving as many references to other Hanna-Barbera works then it is in telling an actually good story. Since alot of scenes in this film include references to other Hanna-Barbera works be it characters , peoples names or sound effects and while these references work every once in a while they do ultimately do more harm then good and heck there's alot more references in the end credits so that just goes to show you were the priorities were at for the makers of this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

One of the things that you'd expect a Scooby-Doo film good or not to have is a mystery and that's something that is very sorely missing from this film. Since there's nothing for us the audience to work out simply because everything is revelled in dialog and top all of that off there's no clues given all throughout the film so we the audience aren't given the chance to work it out for ourselves which is what any good mystery film really should do instead if just spoon feeding the audience the answer in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty three minuets and forty three seconds. Which is the perfect running time for a film like this one to last since this film really doesn't have enough there interms of plot or story and so if this film lasted even just ten minuets longer it would be stretching an already fairly thin story even thinner in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this film is a comedy film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However with that being said alot of this films jokes just fell flat for me which might be because this films target audience is quite clearly little kids and so it makes sense that all of this films jokes would be more geared towards them in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall interms of the theatrically released Scooby-Doo films this film isn't that bad but interms of all of the Scooby-Doo movies this film is quite easily one of the worst ones in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Scooby-Doo fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very / particular / exact film being obviously Google Images since alot of the images that are from this film and that are currently still indeed up on Google Images are all fairly freaking high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
